Some people like the new music, some people like the older music.
So, what do you think?
Did music actually evolve since 1680 or did everyting go downhill from there? Is it an evolution or a regression?
Let me know your opinions below! :)
Hey I’d love to talk with you about music/art in more depth sometime, let me know if interested!!
Guus Music I definitely think it’s a regression in overall music. But then you missed so many import stages of music. But then yet again we still have great music today but it’s less common than before.
Guus Music iii
Erick123M absolutely correct friend

@@aaronhillenbrand526 No, Evolution of Music ON guitar
1:00, when minecraft soundtrack it's playing on a guitar.
I remember it from Animal Crossing New Leaf isn't it? I could be mistaken
It isn’t minecraft music, it’s just very similar to minecraft
Edit: the name of the song is gymnopedie if u wanted to know
Hash Brown ...
wow that joke just flew over your head, didn’t it? lmao
@tyler hoeseph an r/whooosh if I recall correctly yes
tyler hoeseph a whoosh?
I HAVE BEEN FOOLED AGAIN
that guitar sound really good and also the guitarist is amazing
A superb collection of songs, and your playing skills are wonderful too. Thank you !
Blues was probably the most important evolution..
What? hahahahhaha
Blues evolved to rock then to pop
Bbm add#11 get a load of this guy
@Bbm add#11 bro I salute you
Yeah blues first!!
Just realized "Losing My Religion (1991)" could be the foundation of Passenger's "Let her go"..
Very nice playing, tho that sultans of swing was a bit empty, those ghost notes making the original song one of the best, you should add them into your play. ;)
Impressive but the evolution of guitar without blues rolling stones pink floyd jimi hendrix or queen ...
Oscar Attal Rolling Stones just copied the Beatles so they didn’t really bring anything new to the table, but I agree with you about the other ones
+Oscar Attal Yes you're right! I should've added some of them, but I didn't want to play 5 different songs for each era, so I had some difficult choices to make haha! If you really want to see me play some of Rolling Stones and pink floyd stuff, you should check out my ''Top 10 rock songs'' video. :) Thanks for watching though!
+Stirling Studios That's quite the statement haha
Its not the evolution of guitar, its music on guitar
Or despacito...

was really surprised that Canon in D was really that old..haha
wow u should be a fucking idiot
@@marshalravello leave em alone
Me too
I love how you played the autumn leaves 👏 awesome
Really good playing. Excellent selection of music too. It would be difficult to include every genre but acoustic blues and bluegrass styles are really significant in the evolution of fingerstyle guitar, not to mention flamenco and jazz.
Impressive compilation Guus, as always :)
Superbe !
Grand bravo pour toutes vos belles prestations guitaristiques.
Amicalement.
I was waiting for you to play "River flows in you" by Yiruma. But you didn't. You did awesome though. I like the Fur Elise.

Worldclass man. Love it. Very nice. Greetings, Jimmy
That was really cool, you are a true musician. I'm actually trying to learn guitar and I'm getting better but I'm not good at fingerstyle guitar.
How do you roll out a flawless fingerstyle arrangement for just about anything? And how do you naturally play those?
4:59 thumbs up for my most favourite band! :)
Michal Svozil most overrated band of all time.
Mmh hard to choose, I'd say Return To Forever, the Chick Corea one.
RHCP baaaby

It's more like 'a few songs played chronologically' rather than an evolution. But you are good

I love this bro but man, you gotta play that Gymnopedie in the right tie signature and less rubato
Autumn leaves why did you play it so quick 😡 thats my favourite son g
Nothing too hard, but your technique is pretty clean, which is good (btw which guitar and mic are you using?)

Awesome 🎸🔥
Wonderful
Do you have a tab for that autumn leaves cover?
you make fingerstyle look easy. i am jealous :(
keep up the good work btw :D
Loved firefly...please make a full video
I could see fur Elise being some type of heavy metal bard song type in today’s times ya know, for music it just depends when the melody was found by random really it has nothing to do with the time period. The time period does effect the finished product tho as to which genre it will go in.
THIS IS SO SATISFYING TO HEAR!
Why do you have a capo during californication? Otherwise, great vid!
this is so awsome man!
i love it
Really spellbound
Can you share how you play it? Or any tab?
Amazing !!
