@@RPRosen-ki2fk I'm sure the Russians won't mind if it was longer. China hasn't even started sending them weapons yet... Imagine they react to Trump's tariffs with their contribution to Russia. These orcrainians aren't even expecting NATO to help any more.
Remember that according to USSR, second world war began only on June, 21st, 1941. Therefore, a little less than 4 years duration, against quite 6 years for Poland and Western Europe.
You should never use dehumanizing language such as “orks” even to describe your worst (human) enemies. Why? Because this narrative leads to terrible war crimes. A human could never chop off a humans head in good faith. But decapitating just an Ork - there shouldn’t be any problem doing such a thing… Do you now understand now how terrible and dangerous your language is?
Peacekeepers must be accepted by both, Ukraine and Russia. Therefore it must be an UN-mandated mission with soldiers from countries which are neither "near" to Russia nor Ukraine.
Ukraine gets to decide its future, NOT Putler and tRump. The UN has proven itself to be utterly useless, outdated and frankly irrelevant. 🇦🇺💙💛✌ 🇺🇦 Slava Ukraini!
Ukraine's victory was never Biden's goal, Time says Olha Hlushchenko - Ukrainska Pravda, Monday. Looks like the wheels have fallen off this silly game the neocons were playing in Ukraine.🤣
if the truce was guarded by NATO troops, it would be the best possible excuse for the Kremlin that they are under threat... such a mission should be performed by UN soldiers or India, China or South American countries
Right, it can only work if it is an UN- mandated Mission with peacekeepers from countries which are not NATOmembers. China is too close to Russia, so they are neither a peacekeeper- "candidate". Peacekeeper- countries must be accepted from both Ukraine and Russia.
Hi, I'm from India. I dont speak for our government, but I think that from an overarching perspective, I am not wrong when I say that we are quite clear as a nation, that we want nothing to do with this sh1tshow. Russia, and indeed, Ukraine, are both strategic partners for us. We now buy the Russian oil that the Europeans pretend to shun, so that they can buy the oil supply we have vacated from the Middle East. The Ukrainians make ,,Zorya" gas turbine engines which power some of our older naval ships (though now we have shifted to the Western GE LM2500+ series). We would not like either the Russians, or even the Ukrainians to suffer through this war, and we certainly do not want to get embroiled in it ourselves in any way. Its none of my business, but I don't think any "peacekeeping" mission will work, because at the moment, when there is no agreement between the Parties to the conflict, it isnt a peacekeeping mission, but putting troops in harms way, and supporting one side of the conflict. The peacekeeper necessarily has to be neutral, and also be stronger than those they are keeping the peace between. And when it comes to Russia, at the end of the day, that can only be the United States. And, I think the United States has been quite clear, that it doesnt mind funding the Ukrainians, but its not going to go out of its way for them. Indeed, on all issues, from Ukrainian accession to NATO, to every single weapons system delivered, they have been very ambivalent indeed. "Kill as many Russians as you can, before you get overrun" seems to be the idea.
@@sandwichdad7206 I'm fully aware of that, but the US was the only country providing lethal support after the 2014 invasion. I was merely pointing out the similarities of timeline.

@ they rationalize the use of such language effortlessly, like its second nature. The racism and hate of decades ago is back like it never left.
Putin already said no to Trump offer of Ukraine not joining NATO for at least 20 years and European troops on Ukrainian grounds.

It would really depend on the parameters of such a mission. Without proper equipment and a closed sky, it would be a pointless mission.

The reality is that WWII lasted twice as long and it was only after 3 years that the US deployed troops.
From an ukrainan perspektive this war started in 2014. This makes the war longer lasting than WW2.
