Hate ours !!! Just got it recently for a 15x30 aboveground and it’s no good. Doesn’t eliminate the need to vac.

Mine lasted just shy of 2 seasons before the motor went. Past warranty and expensive to repair. Worked good while it lasted but expected a longer lifespan.

The problem with any of these bots is that they only last a season really. For some reason the hose gets little cracks in it, then you get the dreaded flashing blue lights on the unit. Buy the warranty and definitely send out the warranty card. I did not.

Just my opinion: If an expensive robot doesn’t replace the task of manually vacuuming the pool, then I’d question my investment. It may reduce the work but to realize its value from an initial cost investment it would have to eliminate the task.

Our pool is one big slope and it works great!! It has grip on the tires so it may depend on the slope of your pool. However, reading over the description and looking through some reviews I don't see it being an issue.

I noticed when it passed over the big debris field, you cut the tape so we could not see that instead of it being picked up it was simply dispersed. Not hard to tell how much you paid for your unit. Send me one I can just as good as you

Dave Van Meter Dave, it passed over the same areas several times. It runs for a couple hours. We've had it for a while now and it's actually a great tool to keep our pool clean. We run it 2 times a day for a couple hours. It cuts way back on vacuuming the pool. This is our first pool Rover, we chose this one after watching a ton of TH-cam videos, we looked at price, ease of use and reviews from other people before we choose this one. We get a ton of huge bugs, spiders and lots of tree debris. An it does a great job.
The cut in the film your talking about was unintentionally done.
We do mention the price at the end of the review. We're not affiliated with the pool rover, reviewing products is just a hobby. We were actually thinking a update review just to show how it's still doing a great job. Thanks!

    Are the filter bags washable?

Yes they are. What we've noticed is that the Velcro seems to lose it's grip strength after a while. We were able to purchase some new ones on Amazon.
