Hey im an up and rising lightweight main and have gotten to A rank. But i still have a hard time trying to kite players. I dont think i understand how to do it effectively. Any advice or maybe videos that can help me?
I found a similar build while messing around with the pulse damage weapons against snailtaus, im happy others are using the 150 generator. Its underated, and so are aurora with them Ah, I see. You made this with enemy missiles in mind. Haha! 😂
I have a similar concept on weapons using a Medium weight biped AC with the Gridwalker, what made you consider this arrangement of RJ legs? You think an AC like the one i described would work?
Personally dislike this playstyle, I would rather it be somthing that can viabily zip around upclose and actually engage with my opponents, also why is most of the video firmeza? =,( rjs in a bad spot rn fr, that stability hit just for equipping them is rough.

@@GloriousGEO Ive used single but never considered dual wielding them my guess is because I usually lean in to energy weapons as "Support" based old AC habit from maining a LF when energy weapons took from your energy supply which hampered energy for evading. I'll give them a go 😁
I've been climbing up the rank using lightweight build (lammergeier+nachtreiher) and laser pistol/rifle+turrets up to rank D, but it seems getting harder since everyone know how to deal with my build. Any strategy recommendations for kiting them into my traps?

Have you experimented with slightly staggering the Aurora shots? I think firing the second Aurora .1-.2 seconds after the first makes them harder to dodge but I can't say for sure. Also, any reason for the Firmeza arms in particular? Ephemera and HAL arms still fit within the weight limit I believe. Appreciate the content! Looking forward to seeing the next video of this build!
0:35 I left a PS5 PVP group because they would all complain when I chose not to contest their pulse armor exactly like this lmao I had people legitimately getting insanely salty at me because I didn’t wanna trade when they have a shield and I don’t.
I've used this weapon combination before to great effect but I settled on standard biped instead of RJ, and using MLT06 shoulders instead of aurora. Its less damage than 150 EN firearm spec auroras, but it racks up more accumulated impact which can get you more stagger opportunities. Also frees up a little bit more energy because 150 gen is tight.
I call it the space boy laser therapy, you get to experience the joys of terminal velocity, like that carnival games, and they get to burn by laser shots!
Is this build still good on the A to S rank ladder? I have a very similar build to this with the same weapon loadout but my frame parts are: Head: Nachtreiher/44e Core: IA-C01C: EPHEMERA Arms: EL-PA-00-ALBA Legs: EL-TL-10-FIRMEZA Booster: BST-G2/P06SPD FCS: FCS-G2/P05 Generator: VE-20B Expansion: Pulse Armor This carried me all the way to A but now it took me more than a week to get just 1 bar of A (which I can easily lose). Can't seem to especially get around the flood of BVO light builds, and heavy biped laser swap builds with this since dodging doesnt help when they get 130m close to me. The climb struggle iz reals! 😅😂

@@GloriousGEO thanks, So I guess its my piloting skill that needs to be fixed. Also I think my current build is really too fragile as it easily gets staggered at the cost of speed. And I gotta accept they can still catch up even with that boost speed.
Could easily tell you a skill player(very strong)but the same time as last time I leave the comment long way for AC to be balanced as ESPORT right now such as this double shoulder laser missiles or needle gun etc they are just nothing but a left behind version of the old shot gun old coral missile from version 1 etc. I just got A RANK today very easy path but the problem is overly too much pump out cable trash block the way(to S) + the lost rate almost all by those teleport lagys......man I am a TEKKEN player who go to offline international tournaments I can't say how much I wanted AC could be like that one day......

the build you showed at the end is not the build most of your footage used. In fact, only the very first match even used reverse joint legs. The rest are all using a biped build with the same weapons.
@@GloriousGEO the reason I brought it up is because the title of the video says "Lightweight RJ", I assume implying reverse joint, so while the build at the end is nice we don't get to see much of it in action
Thanks for the idea. I wanted to make a similar VE-20B build with Nacht/Firmeza core but gave up because they couldn't output enough EN for the energy weapons while maintaining good stats and weapons. Totally missed out Lamm core from the new update (at the cost of dashing).
I play a fairly similar build, but i use vp-66lr laser rifles instead of the pistols. Whats ur opinion on them? i see that u qb very infrequently is this why u use the BST booster over ALULA?
I just use jumps instead of qbing to dodge. The laser rifles are also a good choice, too. Pair it with a shield, you got a strong build. I'll try it out later on.
@@GloriousGEO It's not too cheesy? I see a lot of people running the double viento/slicer ramen setup and honestly I'm more of a fan of other pistols. Is the laser pistol a strong option? I'm aware it doesn't really add as much stagger as a viento would but I feel like the added damage would be a good counter balance. Or maybe go Viento / Energy Pistol?
@@GloriousGEO I tried it. I was getting out damaged by viento setups the moment I went into engagement range. I guess with the ducketts it's not as impertinent to get all up in their grill. Thanks for the insight.
Didnt really know what kiting was till now so I threw together a lightweight rj with scudders and beat rank 47 s in casual, I think ill be using kites more

Oh, I use a very bad FCS. The P10SLT. I rely on movement to lean into my shots rather than actually aiming.

The trainer ac is just cracked. It's harder to dodge in the air, which is what auroras is good at.

I updated the build after I reached s rank. All clips are pre s rank after first 1. I have a bvo build as well for up close.
I think the same. Is extremely boring play to Chase a player Who just run and Smash his 4 fire buttons.

Definitely. Staggering aurora fire makes them way more consistent in my experience. Especially against faster AC’s that dodge the first salvo.

It's a standard tactic against pulse. They have no idea how to play the game lol.

Currently running a duckett / Huxley setup with a blade. Looking for something to supplement the pistol. Would you recommend a viento/chen?
