He will no doubt find a level and pull the escape cord again under a new manager at some point. The same Tav defenders will say see, look he can do it.
The new manager bounce will happen for a while and then the same routine will start again.
Tav has to be done now. We need a new captain a complete shift in mentality and Muscat in, and some excitement and attacking football back, along with a guy who knows how to get good players on a low budget. It should have been Muscat.

Dundee fan but i watched one of his videos as a preview for when they played dundee and the fact he actually watches and pays attention to other teams instantly made me subscribe. Strangely I can also relate a lot more to him when rangers lose as a lot of the emotions are the same but its nice to hear a fairly balanced view from an rangers fan to get their perspective
It’s a shambles CJ. From top to bottom. On and off the park. We may lack some ability but there’s no reason for a total lack of tactics and a lack of fight and desire.
Naw the standard of player is as bad as it's ever been. We have downgraded massively on last season. The team has zero pace and zero quality. The fact we went into this season with dessers as the main man is actually comical and some folk thought we stood a chance 😂
When I saw Celtic and Aberdeen had dropped points I knew Rangers would lose today. The one thing you can rely on is that this team will fail when it matters. How is it Aberdeen can put a team together in pre-season that can compete with Celtic and Rangers are taking years? Totally disgusted.

CJ went back to Ibrox last week to find out my seat has a restricted view of the park, was raging and emailed the club to complain and demand a move, for the rest of the season it's now probably one of the best seats in the stadium. Who in their right mind wants to watch that crap.

As a Jambo, Craig, the thing that genuinely surprised me the most during your game was watching your best player, Connor Barron, being substituted for Nico while the 'empty jersey', Mo Diomande, is left on the pitch. Nico should have been your number 6 today with Connor playing as your number 8. Those two lads graft for the full 90 minutes, even when things aren't always going their way and they never hide either. I have to admit I think you're right when you say that your manager has his favourites, however, it's these 'favourite' players who are going to cost big Phil his job.

This is my Damming verdict and where Rangers are 3 years ago I could rhyme off Rangers 1st eleven because there were players I’d fear and know who was going to give us a hard time. Slow, ponderous, no direction, no game plan, no style, no creativity, no change. Nothing will change under PC as far as I can see so it’s time to change yet again but there is no-one around to make that decision it seems
The standards have dropped, which is obvious when you watch the Rangers Training Videos. Players not carrying out excercises properly, going through the motions, poor concentration, poor passing, too many trying not be noticed rather than taking the lead and challenging players around them to do better. This is what experienced pros are supposed to do.
The reality is that your team is closer to many of the mid-table teams in the SPFL. You need to accept that this is your place within Scottish football for the foreseeable future.
Rear 11 scottish players instead of playing a majority of foreign 3rd rate rubbish that we have at the moment .

You've hit the nail on the head, CJ when it comes to a lack of identity. I spend all my time watching Falkirk (but my whole family are Rangers supporters), and at Falkirk, we have a real identity where we want to attack, attack attack. Even at Celtic Park, we still went for it, and we had them genuinely worried. Sadly, I see this only ending one way for Clement, and it really must be feeling like Groundhog Day at this point. Rangers really need to get someone in who plays attacking football at all costs because this ponderous, slow, meandering buildup will never achieve anything.

Yeah, Adams has been a revelation this season and has already been drawing Davie Weir comparisons. We won't have him too long, of that I'm confident.
We constantly put money into the club but they don’t seem to be wanting to give us back what we deserve. It’s tedious watching us even if we are winning.
I wanted Muscat. Same style as Postecoglu and knows the Asian market. Yet we bring in Clement. At first I thought ok, lets wait and see what he brings. Nothing. He has brought nothing. No ideas, continues to play players who don't perform, cant change when things are not working. Fish out of water.
When I look at other teams I see players who look like footballers.
I see players who look. Strong, physical and determined.
When I look at our team I see very little of that.
We have a defence that only takes 1 long ball to get in between them.
We have a midfield that doesn't look like it has energy.
We have an attack that I think would struggle in league 1 down south.
We play a 4-2-3-1 with slow build up play against teams who want to stick 10 behind the ball
Why can others score 3-4-5-6 goals in a game and we struggle to look like we'll score 1.
I feel like we've lost our way as a club and the players we've brought in ahve come for a pay day and not because they want to play football

CJ, everything you said is 100% correct. Nothing positive to take from the game, except maybe scouting for players in January. I am so disappointed in Clement and the players. I am a Celtic fan who likes the way you put your love for your club aside when hard truths need to be told. As far as I am concerned, my club also has some issues that are being masked by the fact that we are winning more than losing. Unless there is a challenge from outside your club Scottish football is doomed, so I welcome a challenge from Aberdeen and hope Hearts Hibs, etc can also see it's possible. We both have no right to win games just by turning up and I personally don't want to see my team win 5 or 6 nil every week and then get pumped by the same score when we play in Europe and the reason this happens is simple, we don't get tested enough. When Aberdeen and Dundee Utd had a bit of success in the 80's they played in a league where 4 teams minimum could win the league. The problem with your club is the fans demand instant success when in reality the whole structure of the club isn't geared up for it.

I personally don’t believe the players believe in Clements style of play, setup and tactics. There can’t be one player in that team that agrees with playing 5/6 passes simply to work it back to a centre half. No identity. No personality. No idea. Every team can have a poor day. But today wasn’t a poor day. It was a standard performance for us.

Is Butland really that much better a goalie than McCrorie? Are Rangers' defenders really that much better than Mayo? I really don't get why Rangers don't do more to nurture, develop Scottish players. (I'm a Killie fan so aren't complaining we got them, far from it.) But, for Rangers, transfer policy looks a bit like an expensive lucky dip. Plus I never thought I'd see a Rangers team with such minimal spirit.

The last 3 managers have struggled to get a tune out of this team anytime Celtic have dropped points and as long as these duds are representing the club that won’t change.
On the issue of clement having his favourites, I think the issue is more about having a lack of options. Danillo unfortunately can’t stay fit and I would imagine the Igamane lad isn’t ready to start. So Dessers being pish is just something we’re stuck with.

I have supported Rangers for over 65 years, although 50 of these have been from Canada, After today I can honestly say I have never been so disgusted with Rangers players for their lack of effort and fight. John Brown’s commentary on Rangers TV, near the end of the game, clearly showed his pain at what we witnessed and it matched my feelings exactly. Somehow pride in wearing that shirt needs to be brought back.

How is John Souttar better than Leon King? Leon is faster, a better passer and a better header of the ball and arguably a better tackler and man-marker. How many times does Souttar misplace a pass and make a schoolboy error?

I've stood with Clement until now. He keeps playing the same 11 no matter what. Tav, Lawrence and few others just don't have it. The amount of times I watched Dio, Lawrence and even Barron pointing to other players to pass to instead of wanting the ball. we were sooooooooooo slow. no one made runs. everyone jogged instead of running. no heart no belief. it's gutting

Feel bad for you’s like. This is what it’s like being a hibs fan right now. Ever since the Gordon family took over the club it’s been a shambles and went downhill. Manager after manager, no vision or drive by the board, just an embarrassment to even watch hibs matches now, can’t even compete in spl right now and tbh we will end up relegate and struggle to get back up in a single season. Hope rangers doesn’t go down the route we are going down and fall as bad. Aberdeen this season is showing what it’s like to have a manage that actually has passion to win. Even Motherwell and Dundee United this season have been incredible and actually playing their hearts out. Got the jambos struggling as well this season, not looking good for the spl seeing teams struggling to play even mediocre.

As a Celtic fan as soon as Clement brought Dessers off to replace him with Igamane i could not believe it. I'm convinced Dessers would have got Rangers a goal today. He's far more Dangerous than his replacement and was knocking on the door.
Dessers gets dogs abuse most fans don't like him.....if he gets injured and misses 10-15 games they would be screwed

I don’t even think 3rd is a given under the current system. Absolutely rudderless. Even if we sacked Clement, who would want to come in to inherit that squad? Who’d want to take the job knowing that we have no infrastructure corporately at the moment? It’s really bad CJ. We need investment from somewhere but I don’t see where? This could be the norm for many years to come sadly. Our wonderful club is in dire straits.
