- The first version of Novel Studio is finally ready. You'll be able to create Visual Novels , characters, scenes and stories with just one editor.
At the moment, the editor is available via Patreon. I will develop a simpler solution to distribute it.

I love the idea of the character creator. I would make it my main but it doesn’t support native exe or android builds yet
pls tell me there is no f AI or "online connection" required ? Like can I just use it offline and store all my data safe and square on my PC ?

I don't think I saw it said anywhere but is there a plan to enable us to export to windows & mac? I REALLY like how this engine is looking and how straightforward it is, but I think it would be hard to convince players to download & install a separate thing to play the game. This looks really great though!

Is it currently possible to do the following things in your program? - Add a day counter - Set a bed for the character to sleep in and wake up the next day - Clickable button to change the scene to morning, afternoon or night - Define times for characters to be at certain times of the day in specific locations. - After accepting the mission of a character that requires interaction with another, when going to that other character, a new choice option is released. Adding buttons(image) to pass a time of day or a day, yes.
You can use a variable to count days too.
That's going to require a lot of looping.
However, it is not yet possible to display variables to the player.
The player will not be able to see the day counter.

4) Scheduled Locations: Is it possible to set specific times for characters to be at certain places? Like having someone in the library in the afternoons.
5) Multi-Step Missions: Can the game allow new choices with a character after accepting a mission that involves another character? This would make missions more interactive.

Hello, subscription is not really mandatory. The beta version is available as a one-off on Kofi. On patreon, you can stop the subscription once you've downloaded the editor.
This is a temporary solution.
This might be a stupid question, but is this free or paid?
I really like the node-based system. Visual novels already have that sort of non-linear structure, so it only makes sense. The Linux support is beautiful as well.
I'm sharing the app on Patreon.
Just support the project once.
