In this video, I breakdown how to shoot a basketball for newbies or people wanting to know how to shoot a basketball. There are numerous great shooters like Steph Curry, Steve Nash, Steve Kerr, JJ Reddick, and Devin Booker, but I chose Klay Thompson because of how fundamental and mechanical his jumpshot is. I use the acronym called B.E.E.F it stands Balance, elbows, eyes, and follow through. I also talk about a loaded wrist when shooting the basketball and I do provide examples for you guys too

@@averageaznhooper ok so ive been hearing people say you should have shooting forms for off thedrible and fade aways seperately from your wide open 3's what do you think about this

@@zionokungbowa I wouldnt say change your shooting forms for those things, but just adjustments really. When shoot wide open 3s im shot ready so my legs are bent hands out etc. For off the dribble stuff I still shoot it the same way I just make adjustments if someone is guarding me or not. If someone is taller than me i do a move off the dribble to see if they drop so i can just shoot it in the pocket of space that was created. For fadeaways shoot it up and use momentum as your bestfriend on the way ur turning to create space and bump them.
