Hey Matt, I am not a fan of bunk house motor homes but this one is really awesome. I would love to have the King Sized bed in the master (we have the 31S which has a queen). Lots of storage in the basement, but lacks counter space in the kitchen. The drop-down bunk is ok at 250 lbs because you can stick a couple of skinny rug rats up there. This thing sleeps way more people than I would ever travel with but great for family and friends. But guys... It's not hot yet! You are going to have to turn on the AC an hour before you do the videos so you won't roast. I live about an hour south of you and this is just spring time. Get ready for 6 months of HOT!
Hey Matt and Andrea! Please be safe and stay cool down there! Okay the redesigned 2020 Thor ACE 32.3 absolutely love this floor plan/layout. I love the colors exterior and interior, mid entry door - right almost in the middle, the king bed! The dislikes I would say for me would be the shower would love a square corner shower. Also maybe in that large storage in bedroom have a stack-able washer/dryer. The other dislikes aren't really dislikes but maybe a change for me and those are the bunk bed blinds, I would change those to the snap on black outs like in the toy haulers garage windows, just because I can see my son or niece hitting those and tearing them. And last the back splash would love to see a different pattern and maybe a wrap around one. Just to protect the bunk house wall there next to stove. Other then that for me and my family this Thor ACE 32.3 would be perfect for me and my family! All it needs is my Matt and Andrea sticker! LOL Thanks guys for another awesome video! Be Safe!
First summer in the south is always the hardest...it’s the humidity too. Hang in there, it’s just getting started! Thanks for working through it!
There is no getting used to the humidity...ever. It’s drippy, soggy miserable, you just get use to dealing with it. 🥺🤣
Matt I feel for you man the heat and humidity is worse than -40 winter in Canada it plays with you’re mind and the basic stuff just gets harder, it’s like winter in Canada it plays with you’re mind. Keep hydrated during these months wouldn’t want you getting the Wobblies !!!!!
Love the full side slide and that you can walk through and not have to flip the bed up with it closed. 2. The drawers and cabinet beside the bed -- big enough to actually put things in and with enough surface for all the things you put at bedside -- and with a king, too -- perfect! 3. That the theater seating/sofa also makes into a bed. 4. Frameless windows, especially in an entry-level rig, are the bee's knees!
Loathe the 250# weight limit on the dropdown bed (but it's great that the rig is driveable with it down and that all those storage bins are accessible with it either up or down. 2. Not a bunk fan so I'd want to be able to reconfigure it with W/D, separate freezer, and more counter/cabinet space for the kitchen. 3. Solar is a must -- and I'm talking many panels, as is a satellite dish (protected under a hood/cover), wifi booster and hot spot equipment, and strongly prefer a demand water heater instead of a 6-12 gallon type. 3. Doesn't seem to have 4-season heated tanks and insulation. I miss the old Thor's higher Canadian standards.
👍 Smashy! Found the TP holder 15:45 down low behind the toilet. L: open space slide-in w/pocket door to bathroom; cockpit area w/ laptop counter; kitchen with appliances; good size bedroom with cabinetry, sleep able slide-in; paint/decals on ext. D: ozzy kitchen counter space, refrigerator small compared to the number of potential passengers; no door separation to bedroom; no slam latch closures on exterior storage. Stay safe you two, be careful with the heat! 😷😅😷😅😷😅😷 not skippy, but a bit sweaty.
Matt is always passionate and full of energy when he is reviewing RVs.
Watching all the ads for my favorite TH-camrs! Cuz let’s face it, I don’t have anything better to do! Thanks for making content for us stuck at home!
Matt I’ve been shopping for several weeks and just bought a used ACE as my first RV.
You make the shopping experience so much fun in your vids.
Love your signature themes like 3 ‘n 3 and your now-nearly-famous ladder climb.
Good stuff, would have tried to shop your store but I’m on the west coast. Maybe I’ll be adventurous enough to make it out your way...
Florida, not hotter than hell but way more humid. LOL. 😉🤘
Hey Matt, where's the Art Deco? We need Art Deco in our RV. It's mandatory. Art Deco!!!!!! I'm not buying any rv with out Art Deco. 🤗 Come on Thor
Lmao. Art deco is a requirement.
That is a great coach, way to go Thor. So much room for a family to sleep. Not for me because it’s too big but it is a great family rig. Stay safe out there and please take care of yourself My Man Matt. Cheers!!!
Thanks for the Tour Matt, nice rig. I appreciate your honest and open feedback about some of the things you don't like or could be improved with the coach. The other thing we like about your tour is you actually show the size when the slideout is in/closed.
Hi - I find your enthusiasm entertaining in this challenging era. Keep it up.
Congratulations on 40K 🎉🎊🎉
Great deal Matt, if this thing blows over will see you in Florida!
I agree, dump the slides and more videos without the problematic slide.
Good morning Matt and Andrea
Bro that was the best 👌 R .V. that you have shown that I have really loved the bunk beds with televisions 📺. And you can drive with the front bed 🛌 laying down. Awesome I tell you... thank you for your hard work. You and Andrea are awesome together ❤. Love you guys. See you guys on your next video .LOVE & LIGHT to you. NAMASTE.
* Love the flip-over table over the Passenger seat
* Love the overall amount of storage in and out
* Sink size in Kitchen is important to me. GOOD size here
No comparison. We looked for years at many kinds of rigs. We decided on the 2021 A. C. E. And we love it!!!! ❤️👍🏽
....A Thor Ace.....!!!....Nice power awning....!!!
Id like more RV’s with a front kitchen layout. Thanks Matt!
Really liked this one. Sleeps 9-10, plenty of space. Would like an outside kitchen, and a bunk that holds more than 250 lbs. this is NICE....
Man that wind noise with the AC blowing on the mic is crazy! Always like the pocket doors on bathrooms. All RVs should go to that!
Is there a model that lets you delete the bunk beds and add desk space instead? Almost like a mini office!
I had that same idea! Perfect for making a living on the road. Matt, any such model? Between the ants and the heat, you two are troopers.
I would try the coachmen mirada 35es it has the bunk office wardrobe feature so you can turn the bunk house into a office or a walk in closet
Great video review. I appreciate the both of you reviewing when it's hot.
I'm not fan of that type of shower enclosure either. Definitely didn't like the stove back splash (ugly). I agree with Andrea on the counter space, was pretty sucky guess you'd have to get on your knees in the booth to use the space behind the sink.
Gonna be renting one of these for a week at the end of September, and this was a great video to watch ahead of time. Very excited!!
Had to comment with you doing the review in a hot camper. Nothing like a hot and sweaty Matt.
You crack me up. That must be your favorite saying "I'M SUPER EXCITED" lol
Ty Hedman It has become our “family saying”. LOL, we say it about everything now. 😂
@@lesliedelmonico4730 I'm just funning you. :)
😂🤣 We’ll all be super excited about getting out of isolation and back to camping. Matt and Andrea have saved our sanity and sense if humor during all this right?!
Dislike: 1. I totally agree, the bunk beds are great for a family situation however they should be multifunctional. By putting them up and having one or two sliding doors you could have a great walk in closet. 2. The tires do seem too small for the rig. 3. The slideouts, when I watch and hear them going in or out I wonder what happens if they malfunction and don't go in or out. Is there a manual /emergency crank that can be used? 4. The kitchen sink should have a cover. Like: 1. The Command center", I would love to test drive one. 2. The overall exterior storage looks great. In general I love the ACE.
Suggestion: Because of the heat is there a "show room" or even a large maintenance bay that can be used for an hour or so. You could pull the RV in where it is at least shaded then drive it out when finished? Stay safe folks.
Don't look at a van when you want a convertible for two.
Love the bunks with TV’s, the king bed with night stands and love how roomy it is! I like a larger windshield in Class A’s, bunk over cab doesn’t hold enough weight, jackknife beds are too small.
I agree with all your likes and dislikes. I would add they need usb outlets on both beside tables. Good motor home tho👍🏻
Hmmm...was that back splash in the kitchen...."Art Deco"??? LOL!!
😂
You can change that put if you want. 😊
Nice unit for the $. Hate to tell you but as an Ocala resident this is amazing weather! The good news is it will cool off by Christmas...Maybe.
40k subs! Keep it up guys!!
New to this channel and one day I will buy an RV and I'm getting it from this guy. Subbed 😁👍
With A/C on it helps to close the door Matthew!
Matt you need to have a bottle of water with you, with climbing up on roofs and stuff, you need to keep hydrated, and maybe wear cotton shirts!!! We won't mind you taking a drink while doing the video!!! We don't need you getting heat stroke.
Beautiful motor home. Can’t find any issues
That high pitch voice is hilarious.
Why do they put the propane tank and the battery hydraulic pump on the passenger side? Makes more sense to me to have the storage on the passenger side for easy access when you are camping with the slide out ! Other than that it’s a great rig !
It's only April Matt....wait till you guys go thru July and August in Ocala! You ain't seen nothin yet with the heat! =p
True I used to live in ft. Lauderdale
Fire ant bites are the worst! I learned real quick to watch out for ant hills.
Likes:
1. The front cab
2. Bathroom layout
3 Bedroom layout
Dislikes:
1. The bumper
2. The Kitchen sucks, the least they could do was get a cover for the sink and a counter extension
3. The bunks that don't fold up
Like the huge slide. Don’t need the bunks. Definitely looks entry level.
Matt, My wife and I were laughing so hard that I had to rewind a couple of scenes where you say, "I'm not feeling good because of the heat". My wife and I were on tour once with that rock group called "TESLA" and we went through all of Florida during June, It was so hot I almost fainted from the humidity, I can tell Andrea loves her man, She worries about you a lot, That's a good thing.
Nocturnal I remember Tesla! That’s awesome 😎
Dont like Thor's reputation 👎
Big sink but no cover👎
Bunks don't convert👎
Tiny fridge👎
Love you guys😁👍👍👍
I’m not a fan of bunk models, so I’ll take a pass. But it’s good to see y’all and y’all need to run the AC so you won’t get over heated, because Florida hasn’t even begun to get hot yet.
I have a FR 3271S Class C with almost the exact same floor plan.
The things I don't like about the ACE are:
1) No counter extension like I have in my FR.
2) The bunks don't fold up like my FR.
3) Only ~1000 LBS cargo. When you add people and food, you may be able to bring a couple of lawn chairs.
I do like:
1) 2 AC's. I wish I had 2.
2) I like the windows in the bunks.
3) I like all the exterior storage, too bad you can't carry anything.
I love laptop pull out on passenger side. Love the whole bedroom. Love counter space in bathroom. Don’t like shower. Don’t like counter space in kitchen. Add extension! It’s a toss up don’t really like overhead bunk too dark not enough weight limit, and jack knife sofa rather have recliners! I love storage also.
Matt and Andrea, you are the cutest couple. I will probably never drive again; but, love watching your videos and have learned a lot.
I appreciate how you guys suffer for your art.
Here we go now! 🤘🏽
here before the title changes
Sofa 1, Matt 0. Thanks for the review!
Nice RV for a family.
You should update with the right size tires. It doesn’t have 245/70R15.
Good Evening from Northern Thailand
Like the cockpit, cabinet color, bathroom, bedroom!! Don't like the small microwave, over head bunk weight, back bumper. The price is awesome!!! Matt, hope you are okay? Great review Matt and Andrea!! 👍❤❤
Love all your videos!
Brilliant review thanks
The truth is I would love to see more motorhomes without slides
Me too!✌
Absolutely!
Agreed!!
Indeed!
absolutely!
👍 Nice guys, just not a Thor fan. Thanks Andrea & Matt.
Hope you are ok..hydrate more before you get out in that heat!
Congratulations u r almost 40k
Hey guys! Love your channel 🤗 would it be possible to review some sprinter vans? Thanks 😘
Dude console your ant bitten wife. Jeez Louis, chivalry is alive and well. Btw Andrea is overcoming your popularity! All good, continue on...
With TV's in the bunk area, would it be possible to have an upper bunk that raises without hitting the TV? Glad to hear you pointing out where a CPAP can be placed. That's more important to me than the bunk situation or the weight capacity of the bunk over the driver's area.
Like the generator and the bunks and the rear bumper . Hate the potable water and the city water on opposite sides hate the fuel up I'm the rear and no slam latch
Matt is hard on demm Dra-was.
Great review of a great RV, Matt & Andrea--thanks! One question: where's the "Pull-Out Kibble Station with FDA Approved Bowl Liner?" In the kitchen? Thanks!
Craig W. Scribner I was looking too. I’ll have to check again
I'm worried about you two. Is there a way you can have these RVs turned on ahead of time, with the A/C going, so you won't be getting overheated. I lived in FL for 30 yrs, it get's worse as summer approaches. It's NOT worth your health, and we all care about you guys. xo
Men and Women:
Andrea: 'An ant just bit me and it really hurts.'
Matt: smiles and talks about RV some more, both times
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Matt: 'I'm not feeling good. It's so hot in here.'
Andrea: "Oh my gosh. Are you okay? We have to get you out of here' both times.
Sandra Gray lol ikr! It’s his adhd😂
The Mickey Mouse voice was awesome! 😄
I'm going to retire in 4 years and want to move into a motor home but the ones you show are way too big for someone my age to drive. Can you show some that are available for seniors that can be lived in full time.
Awesome review u two, but Matt u have so much energy..
Matt: Guurrrrl, ah am an ATHLETE!
Andrea: Why, yes you arrrree...
Guys! T.M.I...
😎
Love this! I agree with all your likes and dislikes😎
Tell u what, why don’t y’all come to the best temperature area: north Georgia or southeast TN!!! Chattanooga area specifically. We got good RV dealerships from what I understand and great nature and parks.
Needs: kitchen side wall needs a splash guard as well as the back wall. Not enough prep space on the counter -- use smaller sink if you want to keep the counter that small. Sinks in bathroom and kitchen need to be closer to the front so people don't have to bend over to use the kitchen sink or hit their head on cabinet above bathroom sink.
Was not going to comment but know it helps, because I agree completely with your likes and dislikes.
I really like the big walkway/living area and the large radio display. And who doesn’t love a king sized bed and dual AC’s! But why the small refrigerator? It makes me crazy to have an RV that can sleep 10 with the smallest refrigerator😡 The no-flip bunks are a total bummer and the small storage bay in the back. Again, theoretically, 10 peeps are going to be in that RV!
3 things I like: 1. The whole driver's area (swivel chairs, pedestal table, passenger pullout table, doggie window, 10 inch screen). 2. King size bed. 3. 2 Air conditioners.
3 things I dislike: 1. Small bathroom. 2. The bunk beds. 3. No place for washer/dryer.
John Stephens you won’t see washer/dryers in entry level motor homes.
Question -you always say best selling unit. How many are on the road??????
Lots of likes for this unit. No dislikes.
I think your off on the tire size there Matt! You said 15’s. I think your mind was ahead of your mouth LOL. I’m sure you know those are 19.5’s!
You need to shut the door to keep the heat out and the cool in funny guy.
I do not know if you still check messages with this old a video but do you know the weight limit on the bunks? Thanks for responding to the message!! Love your videos!!!!!!!!
Love your videos F the people who leave bad comments! Great RV for the price!
You are a real jerk, Ben, and you obviously don't have a clue about good RVs!
Where are the outlets for recharging phones and where are the regular outlets?
You 2 need to take care of yourselves. I know it was hot but keep hydrated and make sure all this selling is done safely! Please
Awesome motor home and great price!
Does having the kitchen in the slide out cause mechanical problems later typically? It seem sketchy that the plumbing must flexible connections.
Great floorplan, nice design, price price price.
Do they also offer a choice of girlfriends with 2 kids and a dog to chose from ;-)
James B. 😂
Does the outside storage lock? Is there something between the Sequence and the ACE (in size) by Thor 'without a slide' with good walking space and animal friendly
Just wondering....if the slide ever breaks in the open position, is there a manual way to get them back in?
love your energy
Want to se e a 30' with stackable washer and dryer. Replace the bunk area with a stackable washer dryer and some storage.
Matt, what's the smallest class A with bunk beds? In diesel and not necessarily entry level
Andrea is that back splash “ Art Deco”?
Price is great. Love everything!!
I'm looking for something smaller like a class B or C, affordable and possibly used from you guys
