I have this exact knife for like 10 years, the finish began to wear off so I used some steel wool and a scotch brite pad and now, it has a natural Patina like pick up AK-47, battle worn which ends up looking way, way better than black did. Very everyday knife, light and easy to open and strong blade. I removed the washers and do not the knife apart, I was lucky to reassemble the knife opening mechanism at all. I tie a little braided cord lanyard to the end, around 4 inches and this does wonders for pulling it out of my pocket or belt, just pull the lanyard and it releases the clip, no need to reach into your deep pockets. If I am out fishing or outdoors, use this sucker all the time. I have better knives, but I'm not going to use a 300$+ Spyderco for daily carry blade, those are a little too nice when this Sog gets the job done for 1/6th the price. I have some really sharp Finnish blades, Martini knives. I have seen thousands of knives, been to 5 huge knife shows and Finland makes the sharpest knives in this world, sharper than any mass produced or custom forged knife I can find anywhere, like a razer blade. Burr Oaks makes some of the fanciest folding knives in the world, but not nearly as sharp as these Finnish fixed blades. Any sharper it would be too dangerous to hold, you can cut atoms with it.
Just bought 1 of these new at a pawn shop for $10. Not My type of knife......but for the collection at that price i bought it. Along with 3 other knives 😎
