I've heard of this before, and I'm sure publications like Eating Well have since made it more difficult to pitch articles so freely (actual writers probably have a point of contact to submit their articles to) because people were generating terrible AI-written articles and stealing legit writers/researchers' work. Just hearing the first sentence that AI generated, it sounds like trash. It replaced words using synonyms...I think I read somewhere too that publishers have tools to detect AI-written content, so this is definitely a great way to get blacklisted by them!
Those "tools" are available for everyone actually. And, why would they pay someone to rewrite an article if this possibility is available for anyone including them ? Those scams are pathetic. And the guy making that video even more. Any child with basic intelligence would ask himself 1st: why that guy is giving us for free that side hustle rather than keeping it for himself if it was truly that easy and profitable ?
Fake news and propaganda on internet are affecting people but with the specific of content that you created is opening people eyes helping them to see the true, you should be proud of your genuinely transparency, that is priceless.
