Create archive as a gZip from Files

Zag will just be zig but with C syntax instead of Zigs horrendous syntax.

Unfortunately, Zig also has its own pain points:
      1. the documentation is an afterthought. Many modules are completely undocumented, you have to read the source code. There is next to zero examples, and basically, the documentation is chatGPT or Claude AI. This is a major roadblock for newcomers to the language and makes it unsuitable for large scale use in enterprises. The documentation problem could be solved almost overnight if it was a wiki. But instead, the main documentation is a single 15,000 lines HTML file. Horrible to maintain and impossible to contribute to because your changes are unlikely to be merged unless they are deemed of very high quality.
      2. no interfaces or traits. Yes they can be "simulated" with some patterns, but that makes for ugly and non standard code
      3. not sure why some functions are compiler functions instead of being in the standard library. That is super ugly, especially when you do math. I wish @as() was a keyword. OTOH why do you have to write @mod(a, b) instead of a % b like in most other languages ? And why does this exist in the first place when there is also mod(a, b) in the std lib ? Why is @Vector a compiler intrinsic instead of being a standard library container ??? Doesn't make any sense to me and there is zero justification in the documentation as to why that is so.
      4. no function overloading. I suppose this is to preserve compatibility with C ?
      5. no "private". I think this is a mistake.
      6. no lambdas, but that is a design choice that I can understand.
      7. no return tuples à la Python, probably a limitation to preserve compatibility with C
Then there are some minor inconveniences that make the code uglier than it should, like the fact that you can't associate a context to an error, you have to define a struct for that, or the fact that you have to declare a variable before a while() with a counter, but I can live with those. My major gripes are points 1 to 5. Of course, next to C, Zig is extremely palatable.

Ghost stories are product of survivor bias and illusory correlation reinforcement.
Nobody would repeat of story: 'I felt running kid behind and it froze my spine to solid, but next day I spoke to my friend and we concluded it's to be product of stress.' (Part of your brain knows your kid is not in home, but other part expect your kid to be at home and running. It is similar miss match between prediction and reality when you miss a step. Or you put your phone into wrong pocket than usual and cannot find it...)
But, if you next day talk to friend and he tells you about how your house has been built onto old Indian cementary, then you have a ghost story...
In stress Your body will make references to memory and modifies your input before you made any conclusion of situation. PTSD modifies your sensory input to be closer to worst case scenario than it is.

    • @InforSpirit
      @InforSpirit 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

If you would remember all dreams when you wake up, you would not believe a ghost stories. Dreams are constantly weird and most of material has nothing to do with reality. Other part has some predictive/real reference, but it doesn't mean those predictions will have any impact (also has dangers of self-fullfilling prophecy).
I have seen death person in dream many times, I have seen many alive person in dream, I have been many other person in dreams. I have died in dream.
I have felt how walking trough walls feel, how individuals class pains go trough my body.
I have been child again in school, many times.
And then comes more bizarre stuff when you realize in dream that you are talking with yourself via memory construct of other person...
      Human brain is insane construct.

    • @mehowop
      @mehowop 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

So how you explain fact that few independent persons ( strangers for each other ) have the same experience of ghost, one person sow that ghost in house.
Later after fact of experience ghost ( so its not illusion, its not product of hearing story before and so one, your comment become BS in that case ) my friend was found information about that in fact there was living in past such a man who OFC is dead for long time.
      "Human brain is insane construct."
"Part of your brain knows your kid is not in home" Brain know nothing, brain cant know. Brain is not source of experience, this is reason why you sound like someone who dont know what is talking about.
If your brain produce experience, than you are solipsist. It means that entire universe and brain themself is your imagination.
Materialism is dead and you repeat poop culture.

    • @InforSpirit
      @InforSpirit 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@mehowop Experience is real and I am not really here to take that away.
When I am dreaming and my living room grows many trees, the experience is real until I shift state of mind and woke.
Do we have same experience when I say 'Dog' ? I bet we do not. I have no Idea where and when you will read this message. We don't have same history, nor live in same country (by pure statistics), so experience of word 'Dog' will not be same. Only fragile words to communicate.
Does dog evoke a memory of puppy or a barking danger?
Esoteric term of ghost is less shared experience. We could use same word but mean totally different thing.
Humans also tend to stick social conventions, even if those are silly or harmfull. It is easier to go with flow.
Would you make any special note after week of research and not found any correlation between ghost and names? Would you go to your favorite social media and go to tell how much time was wasted? Only positive results are remembered.
It felt to me that you canno't have experiences without external sources? Maybe you are one of people with aphantasia, who cannot see or hear nothing when someone tells to imagine a fresh apple falling in summer breeze. My personal experieence is in total opposite
Brain is in feedback loop to itself, some information comes from outside from body, some from inside of body. Thinking is speaking your lips closed and those nonspoken words will go back to brain as input as if you open you mouth hear your words.
What is desperation or fear of future more than product of ones own brain? Nobody is threatening you, but you can still have fear and anxiety of next unpaid mortage. There is no tiger to jump on your throat. Only internal experience and you can shift this experience by thinking differently.
We canno't never experience full world, only an subset of all information of true world interpreted by bodily sensors and brain.
      There is two logical possibillities:
Either your mind is millionth fraction of mine or we are different interpreter of this shared material world.

I can't speak too much on it as I've had too many issues to want to continue with using it, but that may have been a bad interaction with neovim & tmux @ 25:25.
In my case, I was using the LazyVim flavor of neovim and any attempt to use it under tmux was INCREDIBLY slow and buggy. Situations like that were the norm for me, and has held me back from really learning tmux until I get more comfortable modifying neovim myself. I don't know if it was the package as a whole or if it was a certain plugin causing it. So far, only a vanilla install of neovim or a minimally modified version of it work for me with tmux.
I should also note that my experience was on Arch with upper-mid range hardware from like 2016 so it may or may not be the same or a similar issue for you.

The compression is just to save on bandwidth so you aren't sending down every byte for every frame to thousands of clients.

yo prime, next time you feel your wife is gonna have to have a night terror attack, try this:
sit upright, and point all your limb openings (soles of your feet and your hands) upwards, to the best of your abilities: sit cross legged with your hands on your knees, palms facing up.
then breath in super relaxed and relax every single muscle with intention, scan across your body and use the intention of "letting go" at that muscle and feel that you are relaxing it beyond what the point you have relaxed them already --> you should feel that there is much more to let go and much more that is being let go.
    use this progression:
    - feet,
    - lower legs, upper legs,
    - lower torso, upper torso,
    - upper arms, lower arms, hands,
    - neck,
    - chin, mouth, cheeks, eyes, eyebrows, forehead, top of the skull.
this should take roughly 1-2 minutes.
once all of that is done, your are ready:
now muster up as much of the emotion of love for as long as you can and direct it towards your wife, putting her in a protective shield of energy. visualize this, feel the strong emotion of love pouring out of you visibly (with closed eyes), going towards her and creating a shield.
make it so that nothing interferes with the emotion, no random thoughts, no worries, nothing.
    pure unadulterated love.
time this for when she is about to have a night terror attack.
PS: for those curious what i'm prescribing...:
he is preparing his 5h body, which is the physical body, so that the 4th body (the energy body) can interact and emit energy much better.
the 4th body is what is his antenna, what helps him pick up that his wife is gonna have the attack soon (its an energy phenomenon, if a person is a lucid dreamer or astral projector, their 5th and 4th body are not bound tightly, so they can easily separate, thus the attack is her simply piercing in the astral domain, with a paralyzed body, because she is partly separated, but not fully - because she is a noob or completely unaware of that dimension to reality or simply skill issues; her prophetic dreams are due to that also, she is unintentionally getting glimpses of the astral plane, which others call the first heaven [out of 7]).
he is gonna use his 3rd body - the emotional body, to emanate the strongest emotion a human is capable of: love.
that is gonna cause the energy body to emit bursts of intense energy.
he may physically feel goosebumps or energy running up and down his body.
that energy will radiate and penetrate his wife's energy bubble.
when his wife starts seeing some angels/demons or weird things due to piercing and seeing into the astral plane and their inhabitants, she will be guarded by that energetic shield her husband is continually providing for her.
the effectiveness of all of this depends solely on how well you can follow the instructions.
100% physical relaxation + 100% unwavering concentration on the emotion of love which you somehow ought to be able to summon.
the buddhists call this "metta meditation" (love meditation).
there is no force in the universe that can mess with it, it is the power of God and God is literally love..
PPS: for naysayers and those who are 100% materalists... go look into research that proves telepathy and similar energetic phenomena. there are studies which are subject to the scientific method.
there have been those who wanted to debunk it and repeated the process and came to the same conclusions.
look into the work of Dr. Rupert Sheldrake specifically and Dr. Dean Radin if you want more weirdness.
telepathy between pets and owners has been proven already!
if you dare to go beyond what science has yet captured, look into yogic texts, as that is the domain they specialize in.
these things are energy phenomena which humans are capable of.
that is why religion will never leave humanity!

regarding the ghost story issues - im a believer..
humans are capable of differentiating fiction from whats real.
our superhero movies will not be mistaken as us believing in those things literally, thousands years later. it is evident from how we consume that media, for anyone who reads about it in history books way down the road, that we understand its "fiction".
we did NOT evolve that hard in the last 2-3k years, so the avg. Joe was as smart and discerning as any person today, perhaps even smarter if we consider all the great philosophers of those times.
they may not have had the modern gadgets we do, but they surely did not lack in wisdom.
so in light of all of this, the consistent existence of ghost stories can not be ignored.
here is my best educated guess in that regard:
every person has an energetic double. that double is super imposed on the physical body and in fact controls it. like russian dolls, we have in fact a couple of these bodies as ancient scriptures teach (some go as far as stating 5, in this ascending order: phsyical < energy < emotion < mind < consciousness).
when a person dies, the higher vessels depart form the physical body. this departure happens via an energetic explosion of some sort, its a violent division if death does not occur naturally.
that energetic radiation imprints the surroundings with the persons characteristics: appearance, behavior, voice/sound, smell, etc.
that radiation diminishes over time, id say it stays for up to 20-30 years (number i pulled out of my ass), perhaps up to 100. it does not stay indefinitely, otherwise every location on the whole planet would be such a spot and this is not the case. and this radiation can be cleansed by those who know how, most of which happens with a proper burial and certain ceremonies.
now when another person is in such a location which is energetically imprinted and they unintentionally manage to power it on through their own energy (adrenaline, shock, depression - any super strong emotion, as emotions come from the body which is one level above the energy body, thus it controls the energy body).
then what happens is that you get a holographic/hallucinogenic experience about the murdered person.
that is what we call a "ghost".
is it the person itself? according to various yogis -> no, its merely an energetic shell.
i am practically 99.99% sure of this theory, considering how i am 100% sure about very related stuff (chi/prana and personal experience).

    • @Ellefsen97
      @Ellefsen97 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

It's an unsigned 19 bit integer. The formula for the range of numbers an integer can store is: 2^n - 1, so in the case of u19 it can hold from 0-524287 (2^19 - 1)

Zig supports arbitrary width integers, so it's a 19 bit unsigned int.
