My first wood bat was a Mizuno 271 in Cherry Red. Amazing bat. Sadly after it broke, I could never find another Mizuno that had a decent durability. After trying a few different brands, I'm now swinging Chandler. Was lucky enough to visit their factory. Very small operation with high quality control and attention to detail.
i hear you Omar. I was honestly astounded by the commitment to baseball that Mizuno has made in Japan (based on the amazing variety of stuff they offered). I went to a store in Osaka (beginning of episode 3) and the truth is that no one brand in the States has the incredible diversity of BASEBALL products that Mizuno has there. Think about it, there isn't one company that even offers the two basic requirements for baseball (glove, cleats). Nike used to, but that failed. I guess it could be that Americans' sport playing is too fragmented (we play so many sports) whereas a higher percentage of Japanese athletes play baseball primarily. Just a guess but who knows.
What Pros Wear agree on that but the fact that they offer more custom options on gloves like more leather colors, patterns web choices fonts for lettering blows me away and not mention those Velcro cleats that I like a lot

there is nothing like a wooden baseball bat. screw those metal ones. they may hit the ball further but what does that mean? i would not use a metal bat for any reason. wood or nothing.

i have the ball. one with a cork center and raised stitches. like they used to make at the beginning of the century. a ball that costs $20.00.
