"I measured them perfectly". LOL. I adore your personality. You've helped me appreciate Abba, Father's handy work in all HE made. I've gotten off my bums and prepared my calendula tinture. Thank you for sharing with us a piece of your artist creativity that has been tucked away, inside you and now recorded in time.🌷 🌹 🌸 🌺 🌷 🌹 🌸 🌷 Thank you. Dee
Thank you heaps for sharing. I made some up n it turned out great. I even made some for my son's school First Aid Room and Miss Sharee even took some home for her self and her family. I used Lavender Vanilla EO and I'm so glad finally found someone that points out the dangers of Some Essential Oils and pregnancy. Another tip i found for you is: In the 2nd & 3rd trimesters, some essential oils are safe to use, as your baby is more developed,". These include lavender Augustifolia (use lavender officionals to be safe) chamomile & ylang ylang, which calm, relax and aid sleep. Oils to be avoided include cinnamon, clove, rosemary and clary sage, all of which can cause contractions
Your such a wonderful person ! So entertaining and lovely to watch Don't let people rush you when you're filming . Love watching you a star keep up the good work .
Hi. I'm new to these things. this is my first look at Balms. I really enjoyed this video and found it so easy to follow. I want to thank you for such a great intro into what I hope I will become skilled at. also its great to hear a NZ accent. My family and I are due to move to NZ in the next few months from UK. As if by magic I find this vid first. Great. Thank you again.
All my favorite ingredients, what do you think about adding vegetable glycerin and whipping the formula to make it creamier? Also thank you for introducing me to Manuka oil!!! I didn't know that existed
Hello and thank you for your message. What and excellent idea. I was just thinking about what I could do today and so I'm going to give it a go. In regard to the other essential oils we have here, I'm loving that idea as well. I've just got a few floral segments to attend to first, but your suggestion is now in my list of important things to address. Keep safe Astar
You can use mica use one that's oil soluble...if you're in the US ✔️ around to some of the raw ingredients suppliers like wholesale supplies plus, natures garden, mad micas as always do the research! Hope that helps!
Hello, I make this up all the time. It is my 'go-to'. You have me THINKING HARD. My thoughts are that perhaps it might be the beeswax? Or maybe the honey. I'm going to to do a wee test trial and see what I can come with. I'm very disappointed this has happened. Kind regards Astar
Can we use liquid coconut oil? Because in the video it looks solid rather than liquid but in the end it’s still coconut oil. Also is that extra virgin coconut oil? Thank you.
Hi there Aliah, mine was solid which happens because it was a cold day. I just melt it and it's good to go. Yes I used virgin or organic. Hope this helps, kind regards Astar
Just to add don't use lavender augustifolia if your pregnant, breastfeeding , under 9yrs old or elderly But you can use lavender whilst you are any of these just make sure it's not the one I listed above
Hi there, I keep mine in the fridge and it lasts about a month. I never put my fingers in to extract, always a clean stick. To keep longer use preservative. Hope this helps Astar
@@AstarsPlace may I ask where you got your tins from? The silver one is a common style and perfect size to have around after a hard day's work but those purple tins are adorable! Please tell me Amazon! As iam in the US
JiniusBeauty .. it is if ur using it as one...there's alot of ingredients that Individually is not a preservative but when added to other ingredients it works as one because it helps preserve..like salt when rubbed on meat it acts as a preservative but is salt a preservative no....what is your definition of a preservative? there's no single ingredient called a preservative

Oooooo That looks lovely! And your presentation was so fun! Thank you😊
Vitamin E is not a preservative as it does not prevent bacteria growth but it does make a great antioxidant!
Manuka honey would be lovely 😊 pretty expensive here in Australia but I’m sure it’d be worth it 😉 Looks like a wonderful recipe . Thanks so much

What can be used in place of shea butter? I watched a video that said Shea butter naturally contains latex.
Hi Lynette, you could use mango or avacodo or coca butter.
@@AstarsPlace Thank you!
I love watching you and I am from NZ, but I have literally never heard anyone call it Manika honey.
lol
I love this healing recipe I cant wait to try it🎁😀🎈💛🍽
Hello! Can you make something like the lucas papaw ointment? 😁
For how long can this stay for, do you need to add a preservitive?
Hi there, I keep mine in the fridge and it lasts about a month. I never put my fingers in to extract, always a clean stick. To keep longer use preservative. Hope this helps Astar
Always do your research but look for a preservative that is oil soluble..lots of naturals out there!
@@AstarsPlace may I ask where you got your tins from? The silver one is a common style and perfect size to have around after a hard day's work but those purple tins are adorable! Please tell me Amazon! As iam in the US
Can i use for this a henna after cream
If I don't hve Shea butter oil or beeswax... Or infused oil... What should I put instead of that?
Cocoa butter or mango butter. Candelila wax instead of beeswax. As for infused oil, it's necessary. 😅
Its awsome I'm a essential oil lady 🍭😀😁
How long does it keep without preservatives?
Is this balm can used for Henna aftercare??
Thank you so much sweetheart
Its very nice. But Vit E is not a preservative.
It is a Anti-oxidant. Anti-oxidants extend the shelf life of your products by reducing the rate of oxidation of your oils :)
sheralyncowan I agree, but its not a preservative.
