  • As the founder, CEO and lead designer at SpaceX, a private company that makes rockets and spacecraft, Elon Musk envisions a time when his reusable rockets will bring people to the moon and Mars. He's focused on humans becoming a "multi-planet species," and on the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, he speaks with Jeffrey Kluger (editor-at-large at Time magazine, and the co-author of "Apollo 13") about his vision for the future.

On the other hand we have an unlimited sky above us with unlimited resources. You have access to unlimited resources humans start to mellow out as there are no more survival pressures. You solve sexual reproduction you mellow them out even more. THAT is the solution while we are still biological beings.

I’m all for this man and progress and space and all that jazz, but can you imagine if this man put just as much attention, effort, and resource into ocean clean up technology? Hemp farms to replace almost every kind of plastic and detrimental material to the environment? Restoration of habitats? No more gmos? Electricity for third world countries?
I guess what I’m saying is, he’s so focused on what is going on out there, that we won’t have a home in the next 50 years for him to actually accomplish all that he wishes...
Again, I respect this man for his achievements, but perhaps a reprioritization can come into hand, and he can invest to matters that can actually save our planet before we all jump ship and move into interplanetary colonization.

For our survival!!! Hats off to all the other brave pioneers that are pushing on into the future of space exploration!!! We owe it to our children and their children and on and on... What seems hard about that??? I don't get the disconnect..Why are we hesitating...fear of the unkown.. Complacency.. What is it??? Apollo 11 was fifty years ago..the shuttle program was gutted .. And I'll always believe it was stopped way too soon..it should have been redesigned if not updated to make it better and safer!!! History will not be so kind to us if we drop the ball this time!! THE FUTURE BELONGS TO THE BRAVE!!! 🇺🇸 Oh and Elon Musk probaby likes being called "ROCKET MAN"!!!

      3. Don petite Dude from NASA says, they!! now get this,,, destroyed this equipment that you think they had to get to the Moon. And it's a painful process to rebuild.
      3. We know for a fact stepping back to 1984 that we need certain temps to launch. And very cold temps interrupt the launches. Which is why they are done in Florida and in the desert. But NOT from the Northern Or Southern poles.
      4. The interviews of these men who supposedly went tot he moon, stated they never went through them from those areas.
      5. Following another story I learn that a construction company in Russia contacts NASA, wanting to Borrow rent or buy the space suits that protected the men in space going to the Moon. Because they knew by their own problems there was NO protection on these space vehicles. Leaving only the suit to protect them from guess what THE VAB's. Now they know as well as you.
