Is the contraction form of water is spelled water's? I can't find it anywhere and the only time is see waters ever has an apostrophe is plural and plural possessive and they're both spelled waters'

Not an English major/professor but I thought I'd pitch in:
If you're talking about multiple distinct bodies or types of water, use the plural "waters"
If you want to indicate possession (such as, for example, lily pads inside the water), use "water's" (i.e. "the water's lily pads floated atop the surface").
If you want to contract "water is," such as in the sentence "The water is calm today," you _could_ use "water's," but be aware: it's not _formal_ English writing, though English speakers will generally understand what you mean if you use it, especially if it's used in speech rather than writing.
