Simple and effective way to make anything creepy 1. Give it a humanoid figure Humans are naturally scared of something that looks like them but at the same time does not. Give it a smile along with contracted pupils (edit: guys ik this sounds cringey but cmon) This is often associated with someone who's mental state isn't the best, for example a phyco and I'm pretty sure you can allready guess why thats scary(edit: in EVERY horror game or movie or Something their pupils are contracted , gone, wide, or they have A HUGE smile or something crazy. I think I have an explanation B-). They say the eyes are the windows to the soul and I think it really is. For example if u were to look at a lion or wolf in the eyes they will feel threatened and kill u right away :). So to putting that realistically if a uh.... "not so sane" sonic were to be starring at you u will probably fell uncomfortable. You get what I'm saying?) 3. Make it taller than usual (This isn't necessarily required) it just scares us mid-sized creatures to see a tall mysterious thing staring down at us. Just imagine how ants feel :( . It also has to do with the threat that that that tall thingy is more powerful and will most likely kill you. 4. Give it blood Upon looking at Mr. Exe you might become uncomfortable seeing blood on his hands. That's pretty obvious but if you think about it it looks like he just killed someone and you can tell why thats scary. 5. Make it look disfigured Although this is pretty similar to number 1 it still is a good point to think over. Look at the way that Mr. Exe's arm stretch and the way that he opens his mouth so wide. Yeah. That's not normal. And you can allready see some pinkish liquid dripping from his eyes into his mouth and back out? OK. That's not normal. I also thought it was pretty horrifying to see knuckles with a shattered jaw and it sent a chill down my spine when I saw Eggman/Robotnik With a skull cracked open 6. Phantom pain. One time I was playing a creepy game with my sister and I saw this guy's arm get torn off from his body and he let out this EXCRUCIATING YELL/CRY my God. I had nightmares...anyways yeah..Since they made that game look so realistic I could almost feel the pain he was feeling. You can see examples of phantom pain in this mod aswell. Look at tails. I genuinely think the new official design for Sonic.exe that ASTRANOMICONX made is really good and unsettling. He looks very animalistic, predatory, and cunning while still retaining that classic cheesy pure evil look that Too Slow and You Can't Run had. The addition of crystalline quills, purple blood, and an actual skull popping through his eye sockets show that Xenophanes is actually just a completely different kind of organism behind his disguise as Sonic. His biology is likely beyond anything on Earth, and it really nails down just how alien Xenophanes truly is. Combine that with all of the features you've described he has, and it makes for a genuinely unnerving and really well designed horror villain. I can't wait to see what else is done with him, because I think he's up there with the likes of Lord X for excellently crafted Exes.

I don't think he's happy at all. Not only has Boyfriend withstood everything Xenophanes threw at him, but the souls of the victims he slaughtered and made his puppets are also rebelling against him. Xenophanes is FURIOUS and wants you dead. His fragile ego that stems from his delusions of Godhood is being challenged. He throws everything he has at you in one last rageful attempt to take you down. Whether it works or not is up to the player!
He is angry, he has never failed before, he has always won, making him believe himself a god, he only agreed to sing with BF believing he could beat him at his own game, and then after losing twice in You Can't Run, he used everything, used every single ounce of power he has in his attempt to stop you, only to fail in the end. His focus in Triple Trouble isn't to kill BF anymore, it's to just WIN, he is sick and tired of being beaten by a blue haired midget, if he truly wanted to, he could have overpowered GF and killed BF, but he didn't. Sorry for the long rant, hope it was an enjoyable read. :)

I don't think he's happy at all. Not only has Boyfriend withstood everything Xenophanes threw at him, but the souls of the victims he slaughtered and made his puppets are also rebelling against him. Xenophanes is FURIOUS and wants you dead. His fragile ego that stems from his delusions of Godhood is being challenged. He throws everything he has at you in one last rageful attempt to take you down. Whether it works or not is up to the player!
He is angry, he has never failed before, he has always won, making him believe himself a god, he only agreed to sing with BF believing he could beat him at his own game, and then after losing twice in You Can't Run, he used everything, used every single ounce of power he has in his attempt to stop you, only to fail in the end. His focus in Triple Trouble isn't to kill BF anymore, it's to just WIN, he is sick and tired of being beaten by a blue haired midget, if he truly wanted to, he could have overpowered GF and killed BF, but he didn't.

I remember a dev stated that FNF songs are about 2-3 minutes long so they wanted to give that much time to each of the characters and have them have an equal amount of screen time, this is why Triple Trouble is over 8 minutes. Looks like they weren’t wrong and kept their word as Sonic.EXE himself has 3 minutes and it doesn’t even feel like it lol
