For those who do not get the Ship of Theseus joke, here is the quote from the Wiki page. The Ship of Theseus is a thought experiment about whether an object is the same object after having had all of its original components replaced.
@@KainceeYT The ship of theseus is a thought experiment. You have a ship. As time goes on, the wood rots so you change out the rotted boards. Eventually, you will replace every piece of wood on the ship. When you do so, is it still the same ship or is it actually a new ship? The joke was that he was slowly over time replacing the parts of the wiki like the ship in the thought experiment.
The frog that didn’t get out of the boiling water had the two halves of its brain surgically separated. It was an experiment to find out how the “emotional” and “logical” parts of the brain cooperate to make optimal decisions.
@@weareallbornmad410It was, and the worst part is that now that information is excluded and countless people think if you boil a frog is won’t hop out on its own
I stay up wondering stuff like, “Why does he have a to go cup inside of a mug?” What does charging a sandwich actually do?” And “What kind of job does a business frog do?”
Oooh! I can answer that one. Early pants from the British Isles didn't have a gusset (crotch), they were just the two legs joined by a piece of skin. You would wear a tunic and other layers that hung down over the front.
1:42 it is because originally they were called trousers; trousers arethe two leg tubes that you would tie together with a lace, they eventually became pre sewn as it is more comfortable
I can answer the pants question! We used to have 2 long tubes that would attach to our belt. Like chaps. You would have 2 of them, so we called them a pair of pants.
You should make a comic, about someone who gets superpowers, and says all the things that they’re gonna use it for, but just use it to do stuff, while laying around
I now understand the origin of the beginning of John Dies in the End by Author David Wong aka Jason Paragin. Is the ax the same after having the handle replaced? And when the head is damaged and replaced is it the same ax? And when it rekills the guy originally killed by the ax in its original form, is he correct when he says "that's the ax that killed me."? ❤
The "Ship of Theseus" article on Wikipedia 😂... Brilliant!
Thank you!
Genius. That is a great one. After I read the article, that joke was the funniest thing I've seen today.
@@vickichapel3253 Thank you 😊

I prefer the way the Doctor puts it with the mop but that is only because it's also funny rather than only thought provoking.
Ooooh I get it now
I wish the office I had worked in had these interesting coworkers instead of just busybodies and drama manufacturers.
Need more frogs…
2:29 I like how nice the frog is. Instead of being insulted by the phrase. They just corrected the logic.
I love the “non-human creature goes to work with people and everyone is relatively normal about it” skits

Thank you 👍
I don’t get it. Explain please?

Social anxiety is a liar and will make you forget that part. Also, there's a good chance that people forget that cringy thing you did last week.

This is what I was thinking. Only I have historical shows to bring it to mind. I'm going to brush up on some historical clothing history now.

Honey, come quick! Chris uploaded a new video!
I'd feel happy knowing that someone I thought forgot me was actually worried about me all these years later.
I mean, $6 million for a spaceship isn't too bad, even if you do have do put it together yourself. Hopefully one of the pieces is the instructions.

If a shrimp is frying rice and the restaurant doesn’t want anybody to know that fact then why would they give it away with the hyphen on the menu?
If the rice is fried along with a shrimp mixed in, it can be called "shimp-fried rice".
