the Gorgon speaks / symphonic poem

Medusa is the most famous of the Gorgons. In the 9th Shanghai Biennial, i played the role of Medusa in Roy Ascott's "Journey to the West: A Planetary Fairy Tale" ... it was a re-enactment of his 1983 La Plissure du Texte, Electra '83 text exchange on ARTEX - which i participated in as a member of Bruce Breland's DAX Group. History, myths, lost cultures and traditions, mad gods, all somehow are called upon here. I found the mysterious and chaotic segments very appealing; the calm pure atmosphere that binds them somehow rings to other uses and concepts of "time", maybe on the more contemplative side. Fine work!
