I believe that this is the last track that Ren wrote for Sick Boi; and it is perfection! It’s easy to watch Ren doing some actual living of life and forget that he is still going through it. He was supposed to be in Canada for about 4-5 months and it’s been a year plus. Here’s to hoping that he can get to a point in his healing journey where he can go home and only return to Canada for “check ups”.

This is one of my favorites, it's so good. I have an autoimmune disease and mood disorder, he captures the struggle perfectly. I can't imagine going through this and making perfect tracks one after another though. He is so very talented, he connects with his fans on a completely different level than anything I've ever seen before. This should be one of the great tracks. The ones that pass the test of time, that people come to to learn. A masterpiece. I cannot believe that this didn't break through straight after it opened the album.
Graphically it is intense... it imposes itself, it enters through the eyes without asking for permission imposing itself through the color and brightness of the graphics and typographic size, and delivers the message without excuses... Ren lyrics are always amazing. As Jamel said multiple times this is real music. @Jamel_AKA_Jamal you should add AnnenMayKantereit to your portfolio. They started Busking just like The Big Push but now fill stadiums. I highly recommend either any song like (Ausgehen, Ich geh heut nicht mehr tanzen) but in there "Probenraum" (meaning rehearsal room) Session or honestly any cover that is a colaboration - those are mindblowing amazing and so much fun (and english). Like Roxanne, Can't get you out of my head or Tom's Diner - Will be a surprise and a blast for you!!!
This song describes the extreme suffering that can come with a chronic illness. I have an autoimmune disorder as well (Ren had Lyme Disease) but mine is not curable. Having experience that kind of pain and then struggling to explain it to others is difficult and he did an amazing job of describing it. I think he gave a lot of people great help with this whole album. Thank you for always giving such wonderful thoughts and insights in your reviews!

for anyone that not heard of Ren he does any Genera of music not just rap he play guitar bass drum piano he produces his own music mixes his own beat beatboxes he can sing and rap he does most of his music live and video in one take u can't box him in he has band call the big push Ren went years misdiagnosed with depression bi polar chronic fatigue syndrome what u heard in seven sins his what he went though they had him on meds that caused him to have psychosis he got PTSD too but not from beds he had Recording deal in 2010 with Sony why working on his album he got sick and couldn't finish it so they parted ways he moved back to Wales he would become so sick he became bedridden for up 23 hours a day it would take years before he would get right diagnosis He has Lyme disease he went so long misdiagnosed that he has Brain damage Organ damage Joint damage now he has had 2 stem cell transplants done he been in Canada getting treatment he has to have IV 5 days a week and they put this thing on his brain that open path ways in his brain he can only eat 2 kinds of beef and few Vegetables because the autoimmune causes his body to have allergic reaction to just about everything he eats his next album will be him playing guitar

Ren Erin Gill is a British musician/independent artist; born in Wales on March 29, 1990; he eventually moved to Brighton. Ren pursued a career in music from an early age. In 2009, while studying music performance at Bath Spa University, Ren began to experience health issues and was struggling to attend his lectures. In 2010, he was signed by Sony Records and was working on an album when his health deteriorated to the point where he was unable to continue and subsequently dropped by Sony. Ren's illness often kept him in bed for up to 23 hours daily. Ren was initially misdiagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, and chronic fatigue syndrome, which led him to experience psychosis and develop PTSD. It would take seven years before a doctor in Belgium finally correctly diagnosed Ren with autoimmunity, Lyme disease, and resulting damage to the brain, organs, joints, and PTSD. Ren eventually underwent stem cell therapy in the United States, which improved his health, but it has not been a cure. Ren is currently in Calgary, Canada for more treatments, including surgeries, and will have to be there for at least six months (Summer of 2023) undergoing IV and other interventions five days a week.
