Wonderful, I am glad to be of help... and even I find myself referring to one of my videos now and then to refresh myself on a angle or fold ... I wish you success on your Napkins!! ✌🏻💚🙏

thank you so much and you are welcome... I love to help other have fun and success with this art.... my teaching experience came from 16 years I spent doing school tie-dye events... I am used to having 25 kids standing in front of my table asking questions as I explain the process ✌🏻💚🙏
Thank you and You’re welcome 😊 ... I think it came from the 16 years I spent doing School Events.... I am used to having 25 kids standing at my table while I explain everything ✌🏻🥳
That is awesome .... I love to switch up my work and try new ways.... and since my outside Soda Ash dedicated washers gave out last year, I made a switch and am having fun with adding the soda sh at the end... and thank you ... a fun one and it came out great 🙏
You are welcome and yes those are both great ideas... I love playing with designs, be it adding more folds or dyeing in a different way ✌🏻. hemp stats could add some fun designs in there as well... Thanks!! 🙏🥳
@@custom_name854 I've made a few hundred pieces and I watch and am subscribed to many tie dye channels. I don't know any of them personally but I do call a lot of them by name.
@J G V ..... I have no idea ... I would say many thousands of tees ... I have been working with tie-dye for 22 years .... just in the schools alone(which I did for 16 years) I helped over 10,000 kids make their own tees.... I did Saturday Markets, Craft Shows, Holiday Sales, Music Festivals and such for many years and did well with that, plus had a lot of fun .... then I switched to mostly online orders and did that for years .... so many tees ... so much dye ... in 2008, I started taking pics of most of my work, so you can check out my FB photo albums to see some of the work I have done over the years, months by month : facebook.com/MrTieDye/photos_albums ✌🏻💚🥳🌈
thank you and you are welcome... and yes there is so much tat can be done with this art... I love to help or inspire people to try new things and explore this art ✌🏻🙏💚🤗

What a great design! I was looking for a different design for my cousin and I think this is it! I'm going to do it as soon as I get my next shipment of t shirts this week! You always feed my creativity! ❤
Thank you so much for this vid! I've been searching the interwebs all over for a tutorial on the klink pattern and there doesn't seem to be much out there. Your shirt turned out awesome!
thank you and you are welcome. and yes, here is my Beginner's Playlist with those two right up front :th-cam.com/play/PLMEtBqB2BzuquDrHsqxbv8LdFkaIyy3wo.html
dope! Q, how do you get crisp lines btw colors w/o any spread into other colors/sections? (shirt soaked SA, rubber band, dried shirt, needle bottles, dharma dye) thanks
thank you and it comes from applying the dyes and stooping before you get up to the edge ... and I do let me colors spread some on their own, once they stop, then I fill in the white gaps with whatever the lighter color is, unless they blend nicely and then it does not matter which you fill in with
it might be possible, but you will need to have a fold line to do these folds on.... so like for a Chervon or V shape, you would fold the tee in half, and then you will have to fold along the V line and then do these folds .... I have not tried doing this fold with that many layers, but I am not one to say it cannot be done .... just tricky and you will need to be more precise with the dye to make sure all of the layers get soaked good so the pattern shows up
yes, I like to have it handy so I can work when inspired... the best way to keep it around for long periods of time is to store in a fridge... I have one of those mini fridges and keep it set to 42F and I have used dyes that were mixed 2 months ago that still gave decent colors.... not as bright as freshly mixed, but I am not doing custom orders any more (and it goes without saying, I do not add soda ash to my dyes)
I buy most of my dyes from Dharma, they are Fiber Reaction Procion Mx Dyes, they come in powder form and very concentrated ... here are the main places to buy them in the US : CA : Dharma : www.dharmatrading.com/dyes/dharma-fiber-reactive-procion-dyes.html CO : Grateful Dyes : www.grateful-dyes.com/ CO : CO Wholesale Dye Corp. : www.bulkdye.com NC : Custom Colors Inc. : www.customcoloursinc.com/ MA : Pro-Chemical and Dye : prochemicalanddye.net/ MO : Dyespin : www.dyespin.com Here is my Beginner's Playlist which is full of helpful videos for getting started with Tie-Dyeing with Procion Dyes : th-cam.com/play/PLMEtBqB2BzuquDrHsqxbv8LdFkaIyy3wo.html

You definitely have the best tutorial out there, Carl. Thank you for your excellent demonstration.
How many pieces have you tie dyed yourself in total?
You even know some tie dye video creators by name xD

Thank you so much for this vid! I've been searching the interwebs all over for a tutorial on the klink pattern and there doesn't seem to be much out there. Your shirt turned out awesome!
You are welcome.... and yes I love how this came out being I have not made a Klink X in many years ✌🏻
That is really cool!
Absolutely beautiful!
thank you 🙏
Hands down some of the best explanations I’ve heard, thank you!
Do you have any videos on how you mix your dyes or soda ash?
thank you and you are welcome. and yes, here is my Beginner's Playlist with those two right up front :th-cam.com/play/PLMEtBqB2BzuquDrHsqxbv8LdFkaIyy3wo.html
Great man, interesting how that works out. I’ll give it a try sometime. ✌🏻❤️
Thank you... have fun and I wish you success!! ✌🏻
Stunning!!
thank you 🙏 ☺️
Thanks Mr Tie Dye!
you are welcome ✌🏻
dope!
Q, how do you get crisp lines btw colors w/o any spread into other colors/sections?
(shirt soaked SA, rubber band, dried shirt, needle bottles, dharma dye)
thanks

I was having an anxiety attack and this calmed me down 🤯 😑
I am glad to be of help 🙏💚
I wonder, is this a design that could be made into a Chevron, X or Y shape?
it might be possible, but you will need to have a fold line to do these folds on.... so like for a Chervon or V shape, you would fold the tee in half, and then you will have to fold along the V line and then do these folds .... I have not tried doing this fold with that many layers, but I am not one to say it cannot be done .... just tricky and you will need to be more precise with the dye to make sure all of the layers get soaked good so the pattern shows up
Do you keep bottles of dye premixed on hand? If so, are there any specific storge do's and don'ts?
yes, I like to have it handy so I can work when inspired... the best way to keep it around for long periods of time is to store in a fridge... I have one of those mini fridges and keep it set to 42F and I have used dyes that were mixed 2 months ago that still gave decent colors.... not as bright as freshly mixed, but I am not doing custom orders any more (and it goes without saying, I do not add soda ash to my dyes)
Really awesome. Is the shirt wet or dry when you fold?
Thank you 🙏 and I fold mine while they are barely damp as I find it easier to fold and dye most times
@MrTieDye awesome ... thanks so much ... I have done this fold but want to try your dying technique .. 😍
Where do you get your die from, and what does it cost per bottle
