Dear Kid, Bahria Town Karachi is almost 9 km away from the outer edge of Karachi on the Karachi Hyderabad Motorway. It's in the middle of a desert and away from the Sea. All developments and greenery are man-made in the middle of the desert, unlike Lahore and Islamabad which are naturally green lands. The quality and cost of living in Bahria Town are relatively high as compared to other middle-class areas of Karachi. almost 10% is occupied and people are living but the rest is still under development. Due to the distance and nonavailability of a cheap public transport system, it's expensive and time-consuming for those who work in the center or other parts of Karachi. It may take another 5-10 years when Bahria Town Karachi and DHA City Karachi will be liveable properly. But the quality of air and weather conditions away from the Sea in the middle of the desert is less humid and healthy.

Bahria town karachi is quite away from main city and sea is almost 50-60 KM away from bahria town.. people in karachi usually prefer to live near main city center despite being poorly maintained area. On the other hand Lahore and Islamabad are way ahead of Karachi in terms of of development facilities and beauty there are multiple areas in Lahore and Islamabad that are even better than bahria town like DHA, Lake city, Model town, Gulberg etc.... Karachi is industrial hub so there's more jobs and business opportunities but when it comes to living standards Punjab surpasses karachi, even cities like Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujranwala and Sargodha that are smaller in size compared to karachi have better facilities and Infrastructure
