I recently bought "Sour" a few weeks ago and I've been listening to it on a loop ever since. Not only is she a great singer but a fantastic song writer. I wasn't aware of a movie. That's cool! It's hard to pick a favorite song... my top 3 would be... Deja Vu, Brutal, and Traitor.
That’s awesome, Shannon! Yeah, I had always heard about her and the hype surrounding her music, but I never listened to the album. This film really tuned me into her sound, though!
I’m not a fan of her because it’s just not my type of music. I watched Turning Red and I thought it was very cute and adorable. Pixar had some balls to talk about puberty and show the viewers pads because I’m very sure there’s some parents that hated it, even though it’s a very small of the movie🙄. I found it relatable and laughing at my younger self who was obsessed with fandoms like they were with 4-Town. Once Ming goes to the party, the pacing went fast IMO.
That’s totally okay to not vibe with this sort of music! And I’m glad you loved Turning Red! It’s a cute film but I recognize its importance for women. Such a well-done film!
