  • Heavy modified Gen4 Z1000 stock exhaust. Removal of the pipes inside the mufflers. Sounds a tad louder in person than in video, but way better than stock.

    • @NoNegotiations
      @NoNegotiations  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It doesn't damage anything, you're just removing 2 pipes inside the exhaust to make it louder. Everything else is stock.

    Nice! Where did you find that plate holder, mate? I couldn’t find it anywhere.
    Or how did you make it if it was DIY?

    • @NoNegotiations
      @NoNegotiations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Drilled 2 holes in the plastic that hold the battery inside. If you find very flat bolt, you can do the same. However, be very careful, because when you sit on the bike, tire completely hides the plate and no one from behind can see it, unless you really close to the bike.

    DO NOT DO THIS ON THE 2018+ models!..... today I opened my 2019 end cans and to find out they had redesigned the welding.... it truly is one piece now and you will fuck up everything if you start doing this... I now have to pay someone just to weld the top 3 dots back from the cap overall waste of time and money. :(

    • @NoNegotiations
      @NoNegotiations  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If you know how to weld, you will be fine. This is not for people who think it's 20min job.

    Hey nice sound! I am doing the mod on my 2014. I don't see in your instructions the step were you remove the metal mesh inside (what holds the fiberglass) How did you manage to cut the tubes? Did you have to cut the mesh all around and then welded back? Thx

    • @NoNegotiations
      @NoNegotiations  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, cut the mesh and open it. You can if you want to put the mesh back afterwards with just few spot welds, but it's not necessary, it's up to you. All depends if you putting fiberglass back.

    • @palakpatel3451
      @palakpatel3451 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean what type of welding you applied(use) to stick lid with outer cover together? Because the stainless steel lid & cover is too thin ..

    • @NoNegotiations
      @NoNegotiations  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@palakpatel3451 Regular weld, not stainless. I don't have stainless welder. So, what I did was I welded with regular welder 'metal' and since for the most part you will not see any welding anyways, I used masking tape and painted the welding spots 'only' with high temp silver or black. Any welding you do you won't see it. Picture 3 & 4 you can see I painted with high temp flat black paint so that it doesn't rust: imgur.com/gallery/Vq0jHB9
