- This new Pavlov VR update is bringing life back into the game of Pavlov. This new update brings new hope for Pavlov VR. It is a very good update and brings many new features to the game!

Also, the reason why some things have already been in Shack is because Shack has been getting all the attention recently, with the RC updates, RC2, it's all Dave's been talking about for the oast couple months, but now PCVR has finally gotten an update after around two years.
Hello, I just got back to vr and I wanted to try out Pavlov (PC)/Pavlov Shack on my Quest 2, as I've never tried those 2 games. Which one should I go for? Like which of the two is more ALIVE and reliable?

I wish Pavlov would add a type of function where you couldn’t stick your guns through walls, tables, and doors. It would make it so much more realistic if rather than simply fazing through walls, guns would stop at the wall if you held them against it.

It’s a new mod kit with better features, they already had one btw. Ranked is being worked on (at least according to the devs) and a new map is being worked on, which has been revealed by the devs.
As for updates, I really hope there will be a Vietnam update, or maybe a Russian optics update
Also, mods (I’m pretty sure this was mentioned) will come to ps5, vr, except they will need to approve them to avoid copyright and comply to ps5’s terms of service
Will the mods that can't get approved on PS5 still be available on PC though?

I thought there was a mod sdk already because the mods were VERY good before. But now this just unlocks whole new levels of creativity.
Btw the Battle royal mode was in the game,but the reason why it got removed was because of to many bugs
Plus the game held up to 50 players and when u died u turned into a ghost and and just watched plus u can see other ghost

Dave said that they wont be adding new guns, but I feel like that won't last long because literally no one in the community likes it, and he got a ton of backlash for it.
Unless he sticks to his word for this (which i highly doubt), we won't be seeing any new *official* weapons.
Modded weapons can now be as good as the official ones in the game due to the UE5 upgrade and the new modkit.
Yes the mod kit should really help the game feel fresh

@@zartoxyt197 both are good you can enjoy them a lot, shack has the old maps and less graphics but can play pavz wich is really fun, and in the pcvr one more ''adults'' and better players

Its wild - 6 months ago, it felt like Pavlov was somewhat abandonned by the developers and it felt like Contractors was the up and coming replacement for Pavlov what with all the crazy good progress and updates it got in just a year.
Fadt forward to now, Contractors feels abandonned by the devs (who are now working on a separate battle royale game, ffs) and Pavlov just got a MASSIVE injection of life by releasing this awesome update and merging the PSVR and PCVR playerbases.
What a time to play VR!

I’m most happy about crossplay. Pavlov has been dead for ages but now it’s actually alive again because I can play the psvr lobbies.

I would really like a gadget update, for example it would be interesting to get stickies that when you throw them they act like normal grenades but they stick to surfaces and players, Molotov cocktails that burn everything that they touch, new melees like a baton that doesn’t instakill but has a longer range, SWAT armor that is 3 times better than the normal one but it slows you down by quite a bit and you are also protected from armor piercing weapons ect...
I downgraded mine back to update 28 as there is a lack of mods for the UE5 version (as of now) and I only really play steam workshop maps with my buddys, hopefully the new modkit will bring bigger and better mods
One thing I've had to say about the update.
One: The scorpion all be it a cool addition but that's where it stops. It sucks. It's practically worst than the uzi.
Two: The PKM is both cool and very very functional. That I like.
3: the probe feature is a cool addition tho it's sort of a troublesome to even do it. Cause you have to physically lay down with practically a brick attached to your face

This is unrelated but I like calling the old LMG The Newbie Gun because i would always use it when I was a noob in S&D and it was really easy to use in my opinion lmao also im so glad theres a chance that pavlov will come back

After playing this game for 2.7k hours it feels like the update brought us backwards in terms of the quality of the game but brought us the potential to be better then before. I hope they fix all the mass amounts of bugs and optimization because Im sick and tired of running into the same bugs that have been in the game for years and still not being fixed with this update on top of adding even more bugs.
Ever since the update the game has gotten so stuttery for me every time i move everything is so blurry, I can’t even see the gun sight
I have a hard crash every half n hour or so that makes me need to restart my quest’s link. Super off putting. :/
As a tf2 player when a "dying" game gets a update i get hopeful

@@TEAM_BLADE lol literally nothing has changed, only one map got remastered, you got 'two' new guns in 490 days, crossplay with psvr2 means games goes 'undead' with original maps only, and you yourself throughout the video were only excited for mods, which now with legacy branch, divides the player base even further. LMAO. pavlov is a clown

Honestly they really didn’t change much, still feels like the same old game
it would be cool to improve the vote kick etc and keep people banned who get kicked too much in a certain time
getting rid of the Steam workshop mods was unavoidable. They made the move to Unreal 5, which would break all preexisting mods, so they decided to take advantage of that and rework the mod system.

Damn it seems this is just an update for PC Pavlov, as these have all been on PSVR2 since the launch back in February (aside from the mods). Crossplay will be sweet though
I hope they add a weapon mount, like being able to place your lmg on a barricade for less recoil

don't get me wrong, i love pavlov, but i cant love it when even if i turn my graphics down to low i still get lag and bugs, i just think if they can get a bit better performance, but i know they can only do so much, but still a vary good update.

Not to put shame or anything on pavlov(as it’s a damn good game) but for me I got rid of it for contractors mainly because of the mods since they’re more “clean” you could say but that doesn’t mean Pavlov can become better!

Great video, I think they should've added some stuff to quest 2 because I mean we waited a whole year to get nothing. I think why it took so long was to get it cross platform and that's really hard to do

I’m so sad that I can’t play this update :/ anytime I try it makes my screen shaky and my controller disconnecting after a while. Hopefully they do fix it soon

I cant run the game anymore, I have a 3080ti and 5800x. Im sure if i lower the settings i can run it, but i cant do that anymore after the update with 0.3 fps
If you have an oculus you have to run it through the oculus app steam VR is bugged
