- Francesca Ajossa plays the Praeludium, Fuge und Ciaccona in c major BuxWV137 by Dietrich Buxtehude.
The video was recorded during the concert "Buon Compleanno, Johann Sebastian Bach" (Happy Birthday, Johann Sebastian Bach!) promoted by "Soli Deo Gloria - Organi, Suoni e Voci della Città" played by Francesca on March 21 2017 .

Agree with comments by ...Perth. Marvelous instrument in wonderful venue. Only wish she had omitted the trills. DB composed this five hundred years ago. It still stands as a remarkable work. It doesn't need trills. Let the genius show through.
I would like explain this : the art of Prelude from couperin to bach is all about improvising, it’s oral tradition so we shouldn’t "sanctify the score" wich is a concept from the XIXe century. The thing to "let the genius show" is just so much Romantic perception of music, but for Sacred Music of XVII, there is no such separation beetwen composer and interpret so God directly manifest in the organist the composer is not the "owner of his own music" Soli Deo Gloria :)

Just out of curiosity, could you tell me where were you keeping your headphones while listening to this? You sure they were in your ears?
La Mantovana it’s just a question... If you are not able to ear the organ is detuned make dumb videos...

Yes it is detuned, but that doesn't change the fact this is a good performance
