Yoda in the OT to Luke - "A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack.” The Acolyte - “ jedi only draws their weapon if they’re prepared to kill.” You can deflect lasers blasts with a lightsaber. What a stupid ass show written by stupid ass people.
Exactly. At the literal conceptual level, Lightsabers were created because George Lucas thought “in a universe filled with blasters, what would be a great defensive weapon? I got it, an energy sword that can block lasers!” This is basic shit ingrained into the mythos. The fact that those lines are in the Acolyte is infuriating, especially when the show doesn’t even abide by that logic when it has the characters just whip them out to light a dark cave or keep them on for no reason at all like Yord does in episode 5. It has never been like this before. The first time we see one of them actually used is when Obi-Wan defends himself, Luke, and the other patrons in the cantina when the two thugs draw their blasters on him. Jedi have never been averse to chopping someone’s limbs off, and it’s aggravating that Jedi Master Trinity (among other characters) decided fisticuffs was the best approach to someone actively threatening random civilians with knives. 57:30 Hahaha no. I haven't played Survivor, but Fallen Order's story is not good. I enjoyed the game very much but there is plenty of crap in it. It's got its moments but the story is inoffensive at best. (Spoilers ahead if you care.) The main character survived Order 66 (like everyone did apparently), goes on an adventure using his lightsaber that doesn't cut anything except when the story needs it to, and ultimately survives an encounter with Darth Vader even though Vader stabs him with his own lightsaber. He then gets rescued from Vader by Dathomiri witch who uses her BS green magic to TELEPORT. Again, I enjoyed the game very much, but overall the stakes of the story are totally broken. There were a couple of other moments that took me right out of the story but Cal surviving Vader was the worst offender.
And the excuted their best (Disney timeline/Filoni) female villain they ever had. Vader's appeareance felt forced. I honestly Lothed the Jedi Knight Cera Junda in the second game. And well the nerfing of Vader continues... I definitly don't recommend you playing Jedi Survivor Sometimes I wish the split Star Wars into adult and children content. I be on board for the first "decent" Ewok flick 😮
I wish they would give me Star Wars. I'd cut out everything except the OT. Yes, including the trash prequels. The Disney colored glasses don't save those abominations.
No one is going to watch discount Pedro Pascal (Pedro is already discounted) roll around in rain and mud for another season. Andor is a nothing character who’s dead. He ain’t Vader; no one is compelled to line up for his backstory. Seriously, what merits the equivalent of 6 movies around this dumb, D character??? That’s why no one watched boring season 1, and why even less will if Season 2 comes out. Take Andor out, insert fresh, new character and it will be much better.
i thought something similar to that before i watched season 1, like what is the point of a show about a character i could not give less of a fuck about. But then i watched it and the show made me care about Andor and the other characters it introduced Sure, would've been nice to have a good show about a character i already cared about, but for good writing in star wars i will take what i can get I dunno, give it a shot, maybe you will like it

damn that was several years ago, you could've just sent them again at this point
@ghoulsome9483 and waste more money?
@@jatnebuir6006so here’s the thing. Mistakes happen. To their best I efforts they get every superchat.
57:30 Hahaha no. I haven't played Survivor, but Fallen Order's story is not good. I enjoyed the game very much but there is plenty of crap in it. It's got its moments but the story is inoffensive at best. (Spoilers ahead if you care.)
The main character survived Order 66 (like everyone did apparently), goes on an adventure using his lightsaber that doesn't cut anything except when the story needs it to, and ultimately survives an encounter with Darth Vader even though Vader stabs him with his own lightsaber.
I definitly don't recommend you playing Jedi Survivor
Sometimes I wish the split Star Wars into adult and children content.
I be on board for the first "decent" Ewok flick 😮
I wish they would give me Star Wars. I'd cut out everything except the OT. Yes, including the trash prequels. The Disney colored glasses don't save those abominations.
RLM's opinion on Star Wars is worthless, it's like asking a three uears old for his opinion on politics.
But then i watched it and the show made me care about Andor and the other characters it introduced
Sure, would've been nice to have a good show about a character i already cared about, but for good writing in star wars i will take what i can get
I dunno, give it a shot, maybe you will like it
Andor should have been Katarn
First
💯
Keep Lil Platoon safe from Mauler
?
dude had a premonition, final destination style
efap forget to review kill grinch during your grinch review. are you going to review this great classical? th-cam.com/video/8MUB8saaHDg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8I6lCpkvy2LxSaUt
HotD season two sucked ass, can’t wait for season three to really seal the deal that HotD sucks. Also how you guys don’t see the issues in season two is actually bewildering to me. It has a lot of the same problems Arcane S2 does but somehow you actually like HotD. Weird, weird, weird.
They had plenty of problem if only you watched the breakdowns
HotD Season 2 is at worst a mixed bag.
Arcane Season 2, by the end, is one of the worst things ever.
I said after GoT that I'm not gonna bother with HotD until the whole thing is out and its confirmed to not suck ass, glad I saved my time.
Not sure what you're talking about. The crew had plenty of issues with S2 and Mauler has repeatedly stated he thinks S2 is a mixed bag.
brain dead take
30 episodes behind on superchats, NBD. You guys should just say fuck it and do a 5 hour superchats catch-up with a lottery of all the messages. The questions that get answered by chance get a response, and the others don't. Wipe the slate clean and start fresh. Resume doing the catch-ups weekly following the episode so you aren't answering peoples questions from 6 months ago. I left multiple messages and Ive completely forgotten what I submitted and the episodes I submitted them, so even if you did read my question and respond to it, I would have no fucking idea since you don't read off people's usernames. Anyway, much love and Metal fucking sucks, seriously.
Timothy, if your superchat was as uninteresting as your comment here, you should stop sending super chats and donate to their patreon. I appreciate you will get a kick out of hearing your inane comments read out by EFAP, but it’s a courtesy, not a right.
Also, Metal is fine. And these people are friends, it’s not some corporate media production.
