that was some alonso level of tactical driving. slowing down in the first sector to not give them to big of a slipstream is very smart!
The extreme slipstream strength called for some interesting tactics.

i hate it peeps too scared of losing and trying different cars i found the Corvette more fun to drive i was surprised by its grip and i was able to carry more speed through the faster corners and beat the M3 Clone wars squad by 12 seconds i rubbed it in thier faces too lol bc i hate copycatting

The graphics in this game are insane love the indirect lighting inside the tunnels
I actually think they're a bit underrated. I look at iRacing streams sometimes and think, this doesn't even look as good as GT7. iRacing just seems a little, I dunno, bland at times.

The LFA was kind of similar. Maybe a bit slower during coming out of corners, but easier to drive it consistently

Very enjoyable to watch and nice commentary. For me not only to observe the driving technique but also learn about the driving awareness which I think is also crucial to win a race.

As an e90 M3 owner, its crazy how accurate the s65 sounds here.
This is a great example of why I rarely did any online racing outside of private racing leagues on GT7. Even if one car out of a dozen has a slight advantage, everyone uses the same car. It's a joke.

I get that this is an arcade sim and not trying to be true to life, but the concept of variable slipstream between events baffles me. Polyphony bending the laws of physics to their will 😂

I only have my live stream up from my Nations Cup qualifying. I did it in the Porsche and got Pole Position, fastest lap of the race and Podium P1. A really nice run. I still do not understand the points I show only 14, but others have so many more like 30??? I need to edit my raw HQ footage for a nice HQ post soon.
Pole and P1 was only worth 6 points in GT3.
@@mfetterelli Thanks, how did some folks end up with way more than 14 points then? Some have 50 and 60 listed for round 3? Clearly this is my first time in the online racing. I just started GT7 in March.

Same spec same car races are my fave, much more fun than those races where someone has their super customised setup

Hey SuperGT, long time viewer and love your content always makes my day! Would love to see you use different cars apart from the META
Drove that one with the F40 (felt much more stable than the M3) and if that italian driver would've slipstreamed WITH me, we might have had the chance for a podium finish..... but he decided that going the egotrip was more up his sleeve...... so he just ended up 5th (or even further down, don't remember) where i managed to pass him during the race and crossed the finish in 4th...... could've been a 3rd or even 2nd place because the 3rd and 2nd place managed to get caught up in a fight shrinking the gap of over 10 seconds down to about 4...... if only the italian would've teamplayed...... ah well..... 4th is so far my best result with driver rating C (yes, it is only C, i am not an alien that smashes every record, i play this game for fun..... before anyone starts ridiculing me, i don't care, you do you).

Hi all, I have just got myself a ps5 and Gt7. I’m downloading the game now so have some time to wait to play. I assume this is a good place to be as I have heard Super Gt is one of the best when it comes to sims. Gt7 looks so clean and has so much content and I can’t wait to get going after it’s downloaded .
