    Hey guys I would like to ask comments to not spoil the video and to avoid any hateful/derogatory/mean comments towards my teammates and how they played. I had a great time playing Twitch Rivals with these guys and want to remind everyone that I joined this event to have a good time.
    Thank you!

      @Ace Official I didn't mean to say he was weak at it, but he is obviously not respecting that albert was the designated shot caller and carry. He constantly talked over him and tried to force plays w/o him even there. There's always someone better than you, sometimes you gotta take a backseat and support them.

    • @Justins294
      @Justins294 3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @Ace Official yep, its also different to play in a team setting. Solo Q is one thing, but being able to communicate and play off eachothers strengths/weaknesses is a whole different skill set. In lane for example it didnt seem like he accommodated the fact that timmy does not play league, even picking blitz was just extremely greedy.

    • @zachariz1490
      @zachariz1490 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @Ace Official tbh when you're playing support making plays is really important. In that context boxbox has the "shotcall priority"... You get what I mean, but tbh being a support doesn't really affect your shotcalling potential especially with engage supports like blitz or thresh. The only player with which it's really hard to force a play is the adc. They can't do it alone whereas every other role has a way to do something since ADCs most of the time don't have any cc or anything

    • @RewindMods
      @RewindMods 3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Ray obviously has a decent amount of knowledge about the game, but he kept making bad call after bad call. Trist played a little too scared during laning phase when Ray was actually making good plays, but after laning phase he just kept baiting his team into bad situations. It was a good game keeping in mind that the majority of people in twitch rivals either don't play league or are fairly low ranked.

    idk RayC at all so maybe I'm wrong. The thing is he seems really confident in his game knowledge, but some of the calls and plays late game were, to say the least, questionable. Aside from the obvious like Timmy didn't hit the nexus, RayC also tunneled so much on his own calls and plays that he completely ignored what was happening to the rest of his team. He makes a call, the whole team disagrees and he just proceeds to force the play on his teammates because he's playing blitz and has that control.
    Just like boxbox said, he knew his place in the other games where he knew he was inferior in terms of game knowledge and overall mechanics and played the support role. But RayC really did not know his place here, his "calls" didn't bring a lot of useful information and also stopped the others from relaying information since he was the loudest of the bunch and talked nonstop to force his play onto the entire team. Which of course would've been fine if he was the player with the most game knowledge and the shotcaller, but I think it was pretty fcking obvious that the team wanted boxbox to make the calls instead of him and he just ignored that and wouldn't shut up and that really pisses me off. Every team fight where they followed boxbox's engage they won or went even, every time RayC engaged late they got shat on.

    I don't mean to flame at all when I say this, so keep that in mind. I feel like this can be the problem with certain high elo players when either coaching or playing with low elo players. The support would constantly try to make plays that he felt would work, and he may have been right in that if this were a game with someone who could perfectly or greatly piolet Tristana, but that isn't the case here. He should have realized that his ADC was not very confident in making plays and could not accomplish what he expected out of the fights. He was playing around Tristana's strengths and weaknesses, and was not playing around the PLAYER'S strengths and weaknesses. The ADC trusted him and followed him assuming that the support would make the right calls due to the experience difference, which obviously was not the case here due to what I noted above.

    I actually wanna cry at the end cause I relate to this kind of game uhh.. we had this tournament and I was made the shotcaller and my midlaner disrespected my calls aswell and it was degrading... in the end we lost and the guy got flamed by the whole grade level for costing us the games that I tried so hard to make up from his mistakes. I was really upset tbh, but its just a game. He said sorrry to me the next day. and i hit him on his back and said "dont say sorry we did our best"

      Bro that ray guy trying to blame his adc for diving when he litterally threw the game. Albert was the win con and he just would not play around him, and then all game all he wanted was hooks as soon as it was off cd. Smh, all they needed was like 2 more auto attacks, or sacrifise themselves so albert could auto 1 more time on the nexus

      @@popanda3652 and also HJune and RayC are rust mains. ItzTimmy is one of the best Apex Legends players going, you can tell the difference in egos when it comes to Ray not being able to swallow his pride and let the only person who plays way too much league, take over to be the shot-caller when he hooks tanks if/when he did actually land a hook. People like ray are the reason people all mute at the start of games, ego loses games

    hey boxbox, always a fan since day 1 and I am always amazed by how you always keep your call even though youre a competetive player. I hated losing in games like League and I tend to flame my team for their bad calls but nowadays whenever I get the rage, I tell myself to be like Albert! Kinda freakish/simp/geeky but yeah thats how it is. It’s streamers like you whom I can watch all day! Keep slaying my friend ❤️
