- Laura and I were listening to this sermon in the car and I felt highly compelled to share it on my own page. It's truly an important sermon for this last-day church.
I added a little Bible study at the end to prove that the Bible is truly the sword of Jesus Christ's mouth in our hands today. Hope it's a blessing!

Jude 1:11 - Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
Revelation 2:14 - But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

I grew up in a Godless house and my parents called Christians Jesus freaks. My best friend went to a Lutheran church but never invited me. The neighbors that lived across the street from them were Baptists and they spoke about them like they were religious nuts. When I got saved as an adult through tv evangelism, I landed at a local non denominational charismatic church that leaned toward the world. That lasted less than 2 years. Now, I watch Pastors online and the ones that I most appreciate are the independent fundamental kjv baptist churches. I am grateful for believers on TH-cam.
I have been saved for about 30 years.

I was leaning toward the NAR and went to visit Bethel Redding, CA. I grew up Baptist, got saved age 5 and have served Jesus for years. In the last 20 years the NAR has crept into the church - many denominations. I've gone to a few 'revivals'... but around 2017 I went to Bethel in Redding, CA. I was so conflicted. Seriously, the 'prophet' Kris Valloton came out of no-where. I didn't even know who he was. He prayed for me and prophesied over me and then disappeared. Someone next to me said, 'do you know who that was?'. I said, 'no'. I kind of started shaking a little, but asked the Lord to stop that,. I felt like it was wrong and also I'd seen the Kundalini spirit on people in my world of massage therapy and I felt it was kind of like that maybe. I went home and prayed about this and God told me to study Balaam. I will say this sermon is RIGHT ON!! As I've studied Balaam (God protected me that time and showed me his protection as He protected the Israelites that time) and told me to RUN, to not let Balaam into my life, like the Israelites did down the road. Seriously, if you are involved in Bethel Redding or following anyone who runs with Bill Johnson - RUN AWAY!!!!

I live across the street from a bethel plant church. I tried going and had to walk away. So sad.
They have less than 20ppl that are not awake to this heresy.
Man you’re so right. My buddy was going to bethels school is super natural ministry and I was paying his tuition. Something didn’t feel right about it so I went out there for 2 weeks just to see for myself so I got to see it all for myself.. super creepy.. not at all of God…what was strange is I felt so “free” in one of their services and what I mean by that is I felt as if I could have danced naked and before God and no one would have cared. Needless to say it was not freedom I was feeling. It was deception. So glad you came out of that! God bless you brother!

I'm using my husband's account as my tablet was dead. I am a subscriber of yours, he was not, is now. We were out giving Bibles last night and met a homeless man, Anthony. He was clouded about Jesus, and was denying his power. I prayed asked the Lord to teach me this morning, your video was in the #1 spot. This lesson goes hand in hand with my lessons this month. Powerful message. My only issue is judging based on the window dressing. Yes, many churches who have modern music are exactly like he pointed out here. However, many stick to doctrine that falls exactly in line with biblical teaching, aren't afraid to talk about controversial worldly issues, and don't excuse sin. If I approached this in the same way I could call out Baptist churches, many like the one I attended in my youth, that have no actual passion for the lord. Churches where their congregation mumble sings hymns for ten minutes as if they would rather be anywhere else, punch the clock Sunday and Wednesday, go out into the world and commit their sins every other day, and then hide them when they are around the "church people". They pretended holiness on Sunday because they knew they were supposed to strive for holiness. This is the church world I grew up in. There was no "dancing before the lord with abandon" like King David. David's wife reprimanded him for his lack of decorum for the way he celebrated God. Yes, the doctrine of Baalum is a serious issue in the American church, but there are seven churches, and other than one they are all called out for serious failings, and all of them exist in America today, but I only see this one being called out on a regular basis. I'm just saying, just because a congregation puts on their Sunday best, avoids modern worship music, and appears church-y, doesn't mean they aren't falling into one of the bad church categories pointed out in revelation. I would even say there are no churches that don't have a healthy mix of the "saved" and "unsaved" in their pews.
Balaam is the prosperity Gospel.
Prosperity ,,gospel" also is preached along with works salvation to keep people in bondage and addiction to the cults

Balaam was a man that heard from God and prophesied but was using his gifting in a wrong way..to make money!
I have been listening to Cody Zorn for quite some time. He is definitely not one to compromise the truth. He tells it like it is. Thanks for posting. Loved the sermon. And the comments as well. Such a needed message at this dark hour.

All I can say is AMEN!!! Thank you for posting this. I was teaching the same thing Pastor Zorn is against false teachers including Bethel, Hillsong and Elevation, and I was severely reprimanded by the pastors and elders. We were very involved in that church but we left.

You are blameless in his eyes if you hold the truth of his crucifixion you will sin no more is not a statement of your actions it is how you are viewed in the lords eyes because his words made you clean you are without sin and are redeemed forever hold onto the faith of Jesus Christ and his words and you will never be alone or without hope of salvation

The Holy Spirit would never tell a man of God to make the message of God's son, Jesus dying on the cross "more palatable" to somehow attract the lost, that very thought is from Satan himself.

Yes, we are supposed to look different. That includes no tattoos, no men wearing earrings, no coarse language, etc., just to mention a couple things.
Can you please clarify your opinions? What does a believer look like? I know lots of people who fall in line with your statement, yet reject God, His Son, and deny the Holy Ghost. Do earrings, tattoos, and clothing taste have any bearing on one’s spiritual standing or reduce the value of their ministry based on those things? God said he looks upon the heart but man (you) look upon the outward. Does your collar and tie make you a better Christian? At one time I had bars in my ears and I currently am tattooed on about 1/3 of my body. Am I less than because of these things? Is God limited by my appearance? This is exactly why I left the Baptist denomination. I have street preached and shared the Gospel of the Grace of God hundreds of times over the past 15 years and have been that minister of reconciliation; an ambassador for Christ, witnessing countless people surrender to Christ and make a profession of faith in what Christ did on the cross and the glorious shedding of his perfectly pure blood that now covers all of us who believe. I have preached nearly 500 messages over the past 10 years all for the glory of God. It’s sad that even still, people are judged by their appearance rather than their fruit. I’m not special in anyone’s eyes but God’s. I’m just a man who loves his God and Saviour. I’m just a dad who is paving the way and laying the foundation for my 4 children who have watched me endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ… I lead the charge as my children follow me into battle each and every day! James 2:1-10 just screams out to me right now. The scripture says nothing about looking the part in order to be validated and received into the body but certainly speaks to the behavior of one’s self.

I understand the scriptures regarding Balaam. The pastor's condemnation of some of the churches he speaks about seem to be scripturally unsound. I do agree that a couple of churches are doing things that are against scripture and need to be called out. His assumption that all mega churches are evil is not true.
If you look at the doctrine of Balaam and the Nicolaitans in scripture, they were infiltrating the church and telling believers that it was ok to worship idols, eat food sacrificed to idols, that it was ok to be sexually promiscuous and to be a part of the world.
Just my thoughts scripturally.
The world and the ways it's going in the last days are definitely evident and is creeping into the church too. Yes, we must be questioning everything through scripture, but we must also be cautious to not be filled with pride and not be led by the Holy Spirit.

It is in Independent Fundamental Baptist churches just as much as all others.
Legalism is Demonic, and hedionisism is Demonic.
Pick your poison, or follow men in the pulpit.
I will not use blanket theology, and presume all is evil, excluding our brand of Baptist.
What you do not realize in condemning others, often you are doing the same things.
I have been Fundamental, and found it to be more mental.
Some not all freak out over having on shorts anywhere, they mis quote scripture to fit their theology.
They run more out of church than they can get door knocking.
That being said yes their are mega churches that are catering to this sin cursed world.
We would not have drag queens teaching our children, if the Church did not look the other way.
Or complain about how bad the world is outside of their holy little huddle.
Go ye into all the world,is not condemning someone before they get in the door.
Watching whole family's visit your little church, and leave because the pastor just had to preach against Blue Jean's, and the whole family had on blue jeans as they walked out.

Isaiah 58:1 kjv, Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Gods way of His preachers are suppose to be LOUD. We need more pastors like him, not like all the Balaams on TV and such.
When Jesus came in my life I that same day opened up my Bible and read and read and every day I read still I read it , in the beginning on TH-cam I would watch videos of all kinds and with prosperity message ect and the Holy Spirit clearly showed me one by one which was “Balaam”
In a nut shell read the word of God with all your heart, look for God love God with all your heart and listen 👂 the Holy Spirit will unveil what is of the Spirit of God and what is not.

That’s great! I had some young people visiting our church once, on their way to Bible College and they all had given their testimonies. Many of them came from broken homes, some drug and alcohol addiction and worse. The. This going women played the piano and sang a beautiful song and said this, “when I was asked to give my testimony I was nervous because my dad is a pastor, I grew up in a good Christian home, actively involved in the Church and I ward all these wonderful testimonies of God saving people from these horrible and awful backgrounds. I thought, I don’t have much of a testimony because I grew up with a dad who is a pastor, loving Church and God…and then it hit me. The Holy Spirit reminded me that while God can save so many out of drugs, abuse, pain and brokenness…God saved me FROM it. Many are saved out if it, but God saved me FROM it.” She said she realized that God’s Grace protected her from all of that sinfulness of this fallen world. Many of us grew up in church, for me, it’s been my whole life. Sometimes we take for granted being protected and shielded at a young age from this world. Anyhow, God bless you.

Cody if you look at the 3rd chapter of Genesis closely you will see that the Serpent was put on its stomach by the Lords curse after the transgression. Before that he was upright and able to converse with Eve. The four most destructive words in Scripture are Yeah hath God said as spoken by this upright creature.

Rev.:14 spells out the doctrines of Balsam - teaching God's people to reject biblical separation and love the world. An example is Billy Graham and modern [neo-] evangelicalism.
Balaam intended to curse Israel for pay. God caused him to instead bless Israel. Then Balaam said to entice the Israelites with your women. This will anger God and He will curse them on account of this. I don't know if he got paid for this. The scripture doesn't say. Anyway, if one is preaching for money, woe. It's a good way to get rich. Especially if you preach a gospel that allows sin. If you want to keep the pews full, that's a good way to do it. Of course, an honest believer won't stay in a church like that. I've left four different churches because they were preaching politics. They were actually saying that God wanted me to vote for one liar over another. I know that politics are evil though. Lies, slander, flattery, bribery, theft, coercion, extortion, hypocrisy, and of course, murder. These are the very foundation of ALL politics. All politicians must use these vile tools to get and keep influence. On the other hand, Jesus is the truth. So, clearly, there can be no mixture of following Jesus and embracing a political ideal or candidate. If you see this going on in a church. Get out.
I'm so glad this came up on my feed. I know I'm a bit late in watching, but I've not long found "Truth is Christ/2" and catching up on the teachings and findings. I'm amazed at the videos and what I'm learning and I praise God for leading me to the videos I've watched because He knows I learn best by watching and not by reading alone. I read along with my KJV that I bought in August 2021 as a new Born Again. I didn't know anything about Bibles and what's good and what's not but purchased a Red Letter one. I'm so happy I've managed to listen to God's whisper. He has changed my life and the more I'm on this path and listening, the more I'm loving Him that saved me from the 2nd death ( I now believe I will never die, not even in this world and it's all thanks to God) Amen 🙏
Just a few moments in my early life that has now made sense to me that God has always been coming after me. I grew up near a road called, "Balaam Street" in the East End of London. It was very near Trinity Church. My family moved to a different town when I was 6.5 years old and I attended a school called, "Godwin Infants and Juniors", I dated a guy when I was in my late teens who was in a band called, "Ransom" and now my Doctors surgery is called, "The Trinity Medical Centre", my cousin was in a biker group called "The Sevens", our water company have it's logo called, "Living Water",. All this happened before I was saved and knew God. I didn't go looking because it fit. It was all around me trying to wake me up. When I started to read the Bible from December 2020 (before I was saved) it all started to fit together and I've been amazed at the things around me in my life, past and present that have references in the Bible. I'm truly thankful to God for not giving up on my soul and for having patience in waking me up from the world to being His child. Amen 🙏 and on a 'silly note' my first name starts with an "A" and my last name ends with an "O" 😁🥰 I've been worried about walking away from people, church things that aren't fitting in with scripture and my church leaders telling me to not read the KJV, but to read a NLT version given to me on my Baptism. It didn't sit right within me. I can't put my finger on it but I now don't attend church every week, I have fellowship with other Christians when I feel I need to because I do spend my day with God, and as someone listening to others who go every week, or help out at church, I find it plays on my mind if I'm doing enough for Him. I don't make it known to others what I do in private for God as I believe that's between Him and I. It's just a bit confusing for a newbie like myself. I love TH-cam for the people I follow on here and what they've taught me. Including Robert Breaker, Generation2434, The Spoken Gospel, and I pray I'm listening correctly. That was a really good sermon, but he didn't speak against the 33rd Degree Freemasonic Witchcraft working Balak in the Baptist Church, that infiltrated, and whose name was Billy Graham; he sure made a lot of money from deception, and the people loved it! Baptists were once called "Baptist" because they baptized. Acts 2:38 saves, and Acts 2:38 is the Only Way to be saved in Jesus Christ. Acts 16:30-33; Matt. 4:17; John 3:3-7; John 3:22; Mark 16:15-16; etc. You cannot separate Acts 2:38 for Salvation in Jesus Christ. AKJVNT

I have no problem with the man's analysis with the character of Balaam, and comparing Balaam to what's happening in the modern church. Right on. I do have a problem with his crude expressions ("I ain't blowing smoke up your dress", and, "I would have no problem filling these pews with BUTTS.") and his angry, over-bearing and obnoxious tone. Speaking of the ministry of Jesus, the Prophet Isaiah wrote, "He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall He not break, and the smoking flax shall He not quench: He shall bring forth judgment unto Truth." Isaiah 42:2-3. Jesus Christ never found it necessary to raise His voice and scream, or shout and belittle people, or use vulgar expressions to preach the TRUTH of God's Word. I shut this diatribe off halfway thru.

Are we really expecting the population to be happy watching nuns singing Kumbaya on a Saturday night? If you don't like it, don't watch it but if you do watch it, don't be telling people that they can't watch it.
I had to stop watching the video after 15 minutes when he made mention of the Jesus revolution movie. I understand he’s a Baptist. I understand he’s an unbeliever when it comes to certain parts of the Bible. He’s a Baptist buffet Christian he picks and chooses what he likes to eat from the Bible. I am a full gospel Christian believer. I got saved in the full gospel business men’s meeting at age 19 coming off LSD, and all kinds of drugs that I could get my hands, and banging my head off parking meters cause I was a head banger heavy metal nut.
I was a thief and a very angry young man who would come back from a party stoned and read a children’s Bible that my Dad and his wife gave me and I would thank God for a great time partying that I had.
And when I got saved, I was still wearing my Mötley Crüe concert shirt, but eventually God cleaned me and He changed me and renewed me and He sanctified me.
For this Pastor to speak against the Jesus revolution movie that I saw three times which caused me to buy the book “God‘s forever family,” which was about the greatest revival that America ever had…. greater than Spurgeon greater than Wesley greater than than Finney ever had in the USA.
So for that reason, as a Christian believer for 37 years I can say you can shout all you want because I heard and met in person, RW Schambach, who shouted louder than you I say adios to you Buffet Baptist man.

God brought me out of false teaching of the modern day church , it confused me at first why i was having all these thoughts and feelings about the way the churches were preaching and believing now i know why .. it was the Holy Spirit leading me into truth and warning me of the false "prophets" .

If you don't like passionate preaching then you wouldn't have liked the Prophet John the Baptist! He was described as being a bold prophet who said it like it is! Sometimes it's the Holy Spirit that is the cause of our passion!

Cody Zorn is preaching to his own. None of the people there are changing anything in their lives based on his speech or came away with anything new they didn't already know. Half an hour into the video I had to turn him off. He was wasting my time.
I suggest you do your own research into Cain, Korah, and Balaam.

What's sad about this preaching is this preacher feels he has a desire a desire to know where people go when you're supposed to worry about sharing the gospel and leaving the desires of heaven and hell to Jesus and Peter only was the one that had the key no preacher on Earth today has the key and unless you know exactly what that means you probably shouldn't be judging people it's really sad to hear the southern preachers act this way they know they act like they're God instead of spreading the good news of the Lord I love you all and if a brother is following we are to let them know but to make judgment over the Dead is so wrong and so not Christian in so many people fall for this
I would say for me, I'd rather hear a softer spoken message than what he preaches , when we say be not like the world , it's the love of money , keeping up with the Jones, rather than doing a honest days work for a honest days pay, many times Jesus speaks of the wealthy , they can't give up a dollar. The mixing of law and grace causes the evil desires to rise up in the body. If the preacher makes shipwreck the faith, it causes this shift toward balam. We need to know of our salvation and being grounded in Paul's gospel which is the gospel of salvation, the gospel of God.
Rightly dividing is critical to being rooted properly. It's interesting when you look at the mentions of the word gospel , it doesn't appear in Luke's gospel, or John? It appears in Paul's gospel many times, just as co-heir only appears in Paul's gospel. And the word lost only appears once in Paul's gospel, and it says a mouth full as to whom the gospel is hidden from, so it's the preaching that hides the gospel by mixing with the books that are not the gospel. Like a split doctrine that claims we must earn our salvation. It was a thought provoking message. Lord bless
