The host should've asked him what is Sunnah? From my little knowledge about what is Sunnah is, it's what our Prophet(SAW) says, does and see people doing it and didn't condemned it or advised them how to do it even if he didn't do it himself, so if Prophet(SAW) saw it and even advised the woman how to do it then it's Sunnah, this is with regard to his statement that it's not Sunnah.

Who gave him the right to speak against what the prophet made permissible? Who ? عجيب أمرك تخرجت من كلية الحديث، ولم تعرف سنة تقريرية، لو سلمنا جدلا أن الأحاديث ليست صحيحة، ولكن قرر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهل الذي أقر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليس من السنة عند أهل الحديث؟
