Senator Ndume's choice of words is poor. To say that the president has been "caged" is arrogant and disrespectful. This is a guy that has been in senate for many years and worked though more than one president, how can he not know how to reach the president? When someone from his part of the country was the president was he he running in and out of the villa? Even if president Tinubu was exactly the way he has portrayed in the Senate and the media, as a member of the ruling partner, he should have been watchful of what he says in the public that could be held against the president. How would he have reacted if his comments so far about the president came from the opposition party? Did he not campaign and supported the president as the candidate of the APC in 2023? For him to subject himself to where the party will have to call him to order, is blow on his integrity as a member of the ruling party.
