When you beat up on your self its never helpful. But that time passing and im not doing something useful to make progress is what i do a lot. And i know this now: soothe yourself , be nice to you 😊 and then i feel so much better right away. And then you are open to receive more helpful answers. Until you are up to speed to happy again.
I love ALL of their expressions! Sometimes calm, cool, and collected is what's right. Sometimes harsh, blunt, and aggressive is right. I adore how they don't pretend with the "airy fairy" and try to appease people's egos. Great message, as always!
I listen to Abe regularly and have done so for several years. This has been one of the most profound of my listens. This is so so so important!! It is one of the most important messages of Abraham for a happy and full life I believe. Thank you for sharing infinite prosperity! Always remember yourself as the floating boat. ❤Downstream affirmations: I am pretty good at this I don’t have to figure it all out this red hot minute It’s natural for things to turn out for me When I feel like doing it, it’s always fun. When I don’t feel like doing it, it sucks. The stream is the current, the law of attraction is the manager and I am the willing floating boat.
i think she was looking for a way to say "im having a good time but im bored" and that's okay, its good to want to be stimulated, but i think she is just bored. just find something else fun to do, enjoy yourself, and ask - what's next?
It was hard to hear this Abraham lady… I preferred hearing the woman seeking advice she had a calm welcoming demeanor. Abraham is saying a lot but rewording what she’s saying cutting off the other person from speaking also , a lot of jumble over and over never really answering her question and it sounds very aggressive her speaking is more like yelling then it is mentoring . It was hard to hear I tuned out , her words are too strong aggressive and judgmental towards the people she’s trying to help and that aggressive approach is a turn off. I stopped hearing after a few minutes it sounded like being in a reprimanding principals office rather than a helpful mentor session
Arent you being harsh on Abraham? If you are discerning enough, many of the questions are the same in principle. Different details, different jobs, different people, but same principles. Money, purpose in life, spouse, decisionmaking, etc. You think Abraham isnt sick of all the same questions? It is as though people didnt buy her books and study carefully or listen to her carefully. The questions are all the same if you really distill them down. Hence there will be frustration in her voice. There will be a hurriedness, there will be a talking over because Abraham knows exactly what they want to say already. How do I know? Because as I listen to these Q and As, I over time, I am mastering Abraham's message. When the questioner wants to interject, I already know what they want to say. And do you know some of the questioners are not asking questions sincerely? Do you know some people just want the air-time with a popular personality? Do you know some people are nacissistic enough of derive pleasure from speaking into a mike? Do you know some of the questioners are insecure aboit their already decent life and they just want a respected person like Abraham to validate them? Did you detect all these things in some of these questioners? You think Abraham wouldnt know it? They go up to a mike, say things like, thank you Abraham, you changed my life, I have a wonderful BF/husband, I love my job, etc etc... but.... You think Abraham is too stupid to not see through these "questions"?
Abraham has a long history of helping people. If you understand her history and the way she teaches it will be more clear. Look up her interview with Oprah and who she is, and how it flows. It will be better received if you understand the backgrround context.
I can understand why you feel this way. Abraham is rather forceful in their presentation sometimes, but I've found over time that I rather like it because it brooks no opposition. It's clear-cut and to the point of what really needs to be said and heard. Where the issue comes in is in expectation. I think you went into this with the expectation of a calm, sweet voice guiding you through the trouble--and Abraham can do this! But that is not always what gets people's attention, and so it's not always how Abraham speaks. Abraham is in the business of getting your attention. Abraham is also a nonphysical group-consciousness that Esther Hicks channels, so they often will use the words in her vocabulary in creative and unorthodox ways so as to more accurately describe the energy that makes up who they are. I think Abraham's teachings are best heard when you are relaxed, and able to listen closely and not project your own assumptions or expectations onto the words. Hope this helps you and anyone else who reads this.
I’ve felt similarly in response to hearing some of Abrahams teachings and I learned a great lesson; Abraham speaks to people in ways THEY can hear and digest. If we don’t resonate with it, it is not meant for us. Abraham always gets the message across to those ready to receive it.
@@christywhitley6053 agreed! I don't think people always understand that these are excerpts from personal conversations. I think a lot of people go to Abraham clips thinking they're "for everyone" when they're really just for whomever is ready to listen.
"It takes a lot of self control to let go of control..." wow.
”If you fight for your limitations, you get to keep them.”
The woman said Wow after realizing Abraham was on point.

I agree that the dominant speaking lady is actually harsh and relentless. She is rough to listen to with her irritating tone.
