Kudos to this new dimension. But How trustful and transparent are the LG Chairmen themselves? Are they willing to deliver the dividends rightful to the vulnerable citizens? Can they be trusted too?

It is your responsibility as citizens to hold them to account, these ones are not strangers from a far away state you know nothing about. They are your own people maybe even family members !!!!! Now they have the full power !!!!!! Be a CITIZEN, HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE !!!!!!!!!!!

Nigeria we indeed hail thee. The courts looked the other way all these years, and now it is time. Anyway we thank God. Let it not be that some people somewhere wont be remote controlling the funds of Local Government.

Can anything good come out of APC? Let's not be carried away instead let's investigate the real reason APC is giving us dis judgement? I believe there's more to it than meets the eye.I CAN NEVER BE DECEIVE AGAIN BY THIS APC.

The problem you people still have is that you're confusing buhari's government with Tinubu......... they are two different people, this is a different government from buhari........ some of you are still stuck in the past
If you know PBAT very well, you will know that he's a born performer.......... you can go and look at his antecedents in Lagos and his achievements in Lagos during his tenure!

Are the funds to LG chairmen or the LG? There is a need to shed light on how LG operates in terms of oversight, employees, expense monitoring, etc...

Dr Abati, does the SC no longer have power to make laws by their ruling? why does the SC need to refer to NASS again? would that not be a waste of all the time and resources? was that not what the process that has been employed since 2003 but has not worked?

  • @olaoniboji

I think what Dr Agbakoba was saying about NNPC being a regulator was about it in effect not by name, which i believe is true. Is NNPCL not the sole importer of petroleum? is NNPCL not the one fixing price of fuel? then what is the work of a regulator?

Abati is a classic established person. They love bureaucracy when noworks. Abati said we should go to NASS to change the constitution when governors will clearly influrnce the state assemblies to vote against the amendment. Well, he said is confused. May be we should forgive him!
Abati wants status quo to continue. They get some perks!

Methinks the crisis would surface thru method of operation. Dem never tink am through indeed. I see the hand of a monkey in this sudden change just to forestall an on going crisis in their midst. What are we really celebrating in this country. Supreme Court is now making laws to back an illegal and legitimate Tinubu APC government and we are celebrating. Nigerians we have a lot of things to learn.
