Because I was 15 when I first read two of her books, I thought, “it’s probably just not for me” and “maybe I don’t really know good writing yet” ugh. I feel so validated rn because I stG, the gazillion five star reviews and the “New York Times Bestseller” label on some of her books actually gaslit me and made me think I was the problem.
So I was buying few books and saw punk 57 by Penelope Douglas and was like I think Sara gave a review about it and just as I was about to pay I remembered she is the writer of credence and your review came flooding back to me. I saved my money and my mental health 😂 Thanks Sara ❤
I found her book 'Bully', and the spin-off "Until You" (same story but from the guy's POV) about 10 years ago (I was 25 at the time) and I liked it when I read it. But I re-read it a couple years ago and was concerned for my younger self.

Honestly if you liked the books, it is what it is. It has all those 4 and 5 star ratings for a reason I guess.

I think its kind of funny someone said RomComs never have second-chance tropes, when I have ghostwritten about 30 of them with that exact trope, and seen more than one. Also, the book of Fight Club and the movie are entirely different, as both Tyler and Marla are the narrator's hallucinations in the movie.
You should read the all for the game series. It’s my absolute favourite but it is not good. It’s about the mafia and a made up college sports team and it’s a little unhinged but I think you’ll have fun with it even if you hate it

Alright my dark romance series rec would be a rina kent series its a guilty pleasure really.. she has these connected books where the characters blend with eachother and it has first and second gen .. or maybe they are all her books but they are linked into small series i dont know really .. anyways if you don't want to read the whole 30 or so books in order .. you can also read the newest series aka legacy of gods.. rn it has 4 book the fifth is coming soon ( god of malice, god of pain, god of warth, god of ruin and soon god of fury and god of war ) .. the main themes are university rivalry ( there are two unis beside eachother one is a UK old money, prestige and posh and the other is US new money unknown sources bad rep ) basically mafia.. each book actually follows the children of couples form previous books.. so basically the UK school has this Elite club.. what happens in it is a bit unknown.. the leads of it are sons of rich men .. but in the US school it has two clubs who are fighting against each other.. the snakes we don't really know alot about them and the heathens who are rumored to be related to the mafia... basically the 4 main members who own it are the sons of the leaders .. now the heathens are freaks .. they do lots of illegal activities.. they are also against the elites But PLEASE look for the tw the first book is the most aggressive in my opinion..its like.. from the first pages baby .. so be careful .. anyways I hate who much the other books feel a bit similar to one another but the best thing is seeing other characters in the bg dealing with their own shit and then seeing their pov in their own books later .. its fun .. Also the god of fury book that is getting released In Dec 6 is rina kent's first and only mlm book .. so yeah I love the mc in it though they entered my heart from book 1 when they where side characters. Brandon and nikolai are the shit fr.. even if their book isn't our yet lmao ... also the author made playlists for each book in Spotify

The imagrey really works for me and I find him hilarious and I find his satire super poinant but he's def not for everyone! That being said, def read fight club. Fascinating to read from a female perspective because you understand how pathetic the main character really is. Or don't! It's a gross book lmao
