Will this work with toroidal shaped gas tanks too?

To be honest, I don’t know. I guess if you manually entered the height of the tank it should still give you the percentage of the contents remaining. Drop the guys at Gas It a message and see if they know. There is also an XL sensor for underslung tanks which might be more appropriate.

Can we use this equipment to measure other gases like co 2

Hi, it works by measuring the level of liquid in the cylinder using ultrasound, as Butane / Propane liquify under pressure.
I don't know if CO2 is stored as a compressed gas or a liquid. If a liquid it may work, depending on the shape of the tank. The App does allow you to enter a custom sized cylinder.

Yep, we have used it on a 6kg Calor Propane. The magnet / sensor area is actually quite small you just have to position that bit on the lowest point of the bulge (hope that makes sense!)

How to you charge the battery in the unit? - thanks - ;O)

The unit takes a standard 3v lithium cell which is said to last 2 years depending on usage. It is user replaceable and replacements cost couple of pounds. The unit just pops apart to replace it.

Will this work on am underslung gas tank??

It would as you can set the dimensions of the tank. However if it is under the van I don’t think it would last too long as the standard version is not sealed / waterproof.
I’ve not tried one but I would have a look at the XL version which looks to be better sealed.

Can two bottles be monitored otherwise one app

David Eaton yep, you can by a two sensor kit so each bottle has a sensor and then both bottles will appear in the app or you can just add single sensors as and when you are ready to. The App theoretically can be connected to an unlimited number of sensors and has specifically been tested with up to 25.

Pretty sure it's only available with Bluetooth LTE. You may be able to do something with a BT/LoRa bridge like this, but I've no experience of them. www.ekt-digital.com/stb-devices/bt-lora-bridge

Thanks for info, no experience of them and looks like it’s + £3 postage, which puts it very close to the discounted delivered price of £58.66 from GasIt.
Might also be worth checking they are not grey imports and covered by warranty as I understood GasIt were the sole U.K. distributor for Mopeka. But I may be wrong.
