Mariah Carey heard Elaine Duran sing My All and approved! Elaine Duran is 25 now, younger than her friend Morissette Amon. You share the same idea as David Foster: incredible singers are in Asia. But, they need to stand out from the rest of the singers in the world. Speaking of David Foster, he will perform in Manila next month. Morissette Amon will be 1 of the singers! 😃

One problem not addressed is that either the singers or management limit the styles. Nobody their publicly says this. This is 1 reason why you do not hear Elaine Duran, other major Filipino singers and other major singers from the Developing World outside of Kpop in mainstream Western radio. There are songwriters in Westernized nations including the USA 🇺🇸 who want to write ✍ for or with such singers. But, the singers and/or management are not contacting them 😖 David Foster, Holly Knight, Victoria Banks and others do want to work with them. Speaking of mimics, Katrina Velarde is a queen 👸 of mimimics: see her video 📹 29 voices. As for Morissette Amon, she started writing ✍ songs. This is a great way to shed that idea that she is only a Mariah Carey clone. Unfortunately, some singers from the Developing World do not write songs 😕 : they rely on outside writers. The danger is that they can stick with 1 or 2 styles and reject songs which add more styles. 😳 Writing ✍ songs counter that limitation.

Mimic??? Anyone who sings a popular song (especially if that singer has the same tonality) will sound like the original. It's not fair to say that she mimic when Mariah"s voice is distinct. She sounded similar with her tonality, yes, but not the same with everything else. Listen without prejudice, without bias, with open arms (so to speak).
