I rarely have a chance to correct Rav Anava, because he makes very few mistakes 😉🙏
But the Arabic phrase he quoted "Yom 'asal yom baSal" means "One day honey, one day onion"
The word "عسل"/'asal meaning "honey" and not "potato".
That being said, his Hebrew and Aramaic translations are excellent and very accurate, and I enjoy his lectures immensely. 🙏🔯💙🙌
He is the cutest when he brings translations he is super smart...knows how to make his lectures energetic and livelly and under the radar he opens the door for everyone to come in...in an LA lecture he said..."like they say around here mi casa si casa" but that Is a Mexican saying but the fact that gringos steal Mexican wisdom and that he added that to explain a point...such a great orator!
