Fakira Riders Bro, I am a person from North East; from Imphal, Manipur in particular. It seems that you have thoroughly enjoyed the natural beauty of Arunachal Pradesh. I wish to comment a few lines about Arunachal Pradesh (AP). AP was called NEFA (North Eastern Frontier Agency) during the British times. After Independence, the Indian Govt. came up with a "Forward Policy" to amalgamate NEFA with India. For this task, a person called Maj. Bob Khathing was entrusted. He was an officer from British Indian Army who happens to be from Manipur also. It was due to the Herculean efforts of Maj. Khathing that NEFA became part of India after he hoisted the Indian flag on 14th February 1951. (One of his daughter is named Sela.) My father (Lt. Col. H Bhuban Singh) wrote a biography on Maj. Bob Khathing.

Lovely. Have ridden to Ziro valley in Arunachal. Tawang is top of my bucket list. I also enjoy riding solo, and enjoy the quietness than the noise. It's not because I am unsocial or don't like being around people, it's because, a) I am a very quiet person and don't like loud talking, 2) I enjoy riding at my own pace and normally ride slow, 3) when I ride in a group there are more distractions, speed is higher & focus is difficult to maintain. I am currently in Himachal, which is under lockdown, while my black Xpulse 200 (Bathory) is idling in Mumbai. I wish I had it here. Cheers and safe riding.
