The same day Mike Schmidt lost his bid for re-election, a violent man went on a crime spree in broad daylight right in downtown Portland attempting to rob pedestrians and attempting murder by pushing a man in front of a MAX train. Schmidt would have given this man a slap on the wrist. Hopefully Vasquez will prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law.
Make criminals afraid again ! The public is tired of the lies and corruption from both parties. An independent feels much safer to vote for where polarized loyalties run high.
Not super happy with his response here. I 100% voted for him as a referendum on the far left "progressive" policies of Mike Schmidt. It will be interesting to see if he actually changes things for the better or if he branded himself as a referendum just to get elected and turns out to be just more of the same.
