I’m originally from Yakutia and recently attended a concert by The HU in Ottawa, Canada. What a fantastic show it was! I had a feeling that the jew’s harp sounded exactly like the Yakutian style, and in this video Jaya confirmed my feeling - it's indeed Yakutian.
I also smiled when Dashka offered the first cut of meat to nature. That's something we do too! I can always distinguish a Yakut person from other East Asians but not from Mongols; our faces look the same. I guess it's because we Yakuts came from Mongolia, our ancestors wrote histories of their great leaders in stone near Orkhon valley in Mongolia
ARTGER And The HU what a collaboration it happened perfect💪greetings from a part tibetan mongol from germany👋
they shot it in february and they were planning to release it in april, idk wt happened but here it is lol
I think I must have a Mongol heart even though I’m a tall, blond woman with Scandinavian and British ancestry. I have loved watching you all over the years and really enjoy every episode, this one may have been my favorite…at least until the next one!! Thanks for sharing your culture, your recipes, and most of all the beautiful scenery!!!
tall and blonde = definition of beauty
I'm a 6'1/186 tall and strong Mongol yearning to meet a Scandinavian-viking warrior-princess :г if you happen to know any :D
I always loved European dress for ladies and used to draw them when I was a child. 😊 I am a short little brown Mongol and loved european dresses 👗 😅
@@Rugged-Mongol I’ll be on the lookout for another one. Don’t think my Scottish husband would be interested in sharing!!! 🤣

Аль алин дэлхийд Монголыг сурталчилж таниулж бгад баяртай бна. Boodog boys, the Hu амжилт! 🇲🇳🇲🇳🇲🇳
Wow Yakutian culture was mentioned, really glad to hear that The Hu know about us. Thank you Artger and The Hu! 🔥🔥🔥
The Sakha-Yakuts here in Germany invited me to join their Ыһыаҕа where I also sang my Mongol Khöömii during our joint, Tenger summer fest.
The Hu's music is an electrifying fusion of traditional Mongolian sounds and modern rock that transcends language barriers. Their powerful use of throat singing, horsehead fiddles, and heavy guitar riffs creates an unforgettable experience that resonates deeply with listeners. Each song is a journey, evoking the spirit and heritage of Mongolia while delivering a fresh and innovative sound. The Hu doesn't just perform music; they craft a unique sonic world that unites fans from all walks of life. They truly redefine what it means to be a global band.
I am sorry to have been so tardy about finding this upload. First off, THANK YOU, *Artger Boodog Boys!* I enjoyed every moment, every word and every activity on-screen. My hat's off to each of you gentlemen, with great gratitude, from Texas.
Nice reply, I have been to 2 Hu concerts here in Houston, I am Mongolian and got back from there this past July, whenever u get a chance you should visit Mongolia, it was great.
This is the best thing I've seen today - legendary cooks, legendary musicians, legendary food! I hope you get to do it again one day soon. Love (and food envy) from Canada! 🍁
You boys are a legend. So good to see the Mongol spirit alive... good on ya boys
Absolute perfection❣️ Thank you so much for sharing this amazing meeting. ❤ from Tasmania, Australia 🇦🇺 The food looked so delicious it made me hungry just watching! I had to pause the video and go make a sandwich. 😂
Certified legendary moment in history. Love what you all do, so this is certainly a welcome occurrence.
Finally the collaboration I've been waiting for!
Yess!!!!!
I first was acquainted with The HU when I saw them as the opening act for Iron Maiden, and I was hooked. Genghis Khan conquered with swords, The HU conquers with music. Wasn't expecting to see y'all together, but it should be unsurprising considering that music and food bring people together.
I just listened to THE HU yesterday night and here you are collaborating .What a great surprise!
Ах нар ч шөнөжингөө сайн найрлаж хоносон байхдаа. Махан дээр бүгд халаад эхэлцэн харагдаж байна
Wow! that was awesome! Greetings from US Dine Nation, AZ. Good to see THE HU band. i went to their concert in Las Vegas, NV hoping to get close to give them to give them a gift but didnt had the chance. Hopefully come day. Love you guys!
Exactly the best collab that we didn't even expect. #ARTGER + #THEHU
For those who asked why we put stones in the food - In Mongolian cuisine, particularly in dishes like khorkhog, heated stones are placed directly with the meat and vegetables in a cooking container. The hot stones act as a heat source, cooking the food evenly from the inside out. This technique, dating back to nomadic traditions, imparts a unique, slightly smoky flavor to meat and helps keep the food warm long after it's cooked. Moreover, after cooking, Mongolians sometimes handle the stones with palms, the warmth and warm oil absorbed from the food can have healing benefits, as there are many nervous ends in human palms. It really works though.
Same in our meat cooking technique among northern nagas India. We call it "So-tok" meat cooked with stone.
ARTGER+THE HU 🇲🇳👍❤❤❤❤❤❤энэ дугаарыг их удаан хүлээсэн шүү
It seemed like the best culture for everyone to listen to the elderly person's teachings first and listen to the elderly person's silent words until they started eating.

With an incoming major heat wave in my area, I am jealous of the temps in this video being low enough for parkas and cool looking big fuzzy hats.

This is awesome lots of love for Mongolian cuisine from Texas.
Only now did I stumble across this upload. Strangely, I'd just chowed down with a plate of thin-sliced beef brisket for my lunch today --- and so, yeah, I had to pause the video to return to the kitchen for seconds! (It is _good_ to be a Texas cattle rancher.) HU HU HU HU
Love from philippines🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭✌️

i like that when you say who(hu)"s in kitchen
The HU band has a series of their "HU's in the Kitchen" episodes in their own channel's Playlist, which are a lot of fun to watch. Since they are out on tour so many months each year, the guys had to learn cookery. (Jamba is particularly skilled, lol!)

When was this filmed? Does it get this cold in Mongolia in June, July?
June is summer in Mongolia. Its filmed in winter
February or March
👍
Recipes please!
And I need it scaled down for a single serving.
We never eat alone hehe
Looked like salt pepper and newly introduced (in early 1990s) Korean spices and sauces. I think you can get away with Korean Bulgogi sauce, but the meat quality I don't think you can get anywhere close to natural level over there in Mongolia
