+Roger Toledano Exactly. The item is worth no more than $500. It's so funny how ignorant people think an autograph is worth many thousands of dollars LOL.
Probably one of the best bartering scenes I've seen on pawnstars, even tho buddy got robbed. If you had the air mags to match, somebody would easily pay 2k for that. I would!
Dude back to the future 2 was one of the most iconic movies of its time and it has one of the biggest fan bases ever for just the 2nd one and he’s like na I can do 300. I’m pretty sure it’s worth least 10k.
I’ve got some signed memorabilia and it is a beast to try to unload. You can’t get a decent price for it. I’m through collecting signed stuff for the purpose of retirement. Lol.
Man: I have a signed hoverboard. Pawn Star: Sorry. Signing it actually decreased the value. Man: I have an unsigned hoverboard. Pawn Star: Sorry, it’s not signed so it’s not as valuable.
If I were attempting to sell that today and got all the autographs and hoverboard from MegaCon 2019, I would not have taken $600. I was at MegaCon where most of the BTTF cast made appearances. A ticket to that convention is not cheap (I know a VIP pass was at $430 before prices went up). One day passes were cheaper, but their lines were HUGE! You invest in the travel and hotel (if applicable). An autograph from Michael J. Fox had to be purchased in advanced ranging from $175 - $225 depending on the size of the item (That definitely would have been $225). An autograph from Christopher Lloyd was $80 with an additional $20 to add a personal name or short message. Lea Thompson was charging $60 for an autograph. An autograph from Tom was $60, and one from James Tolkan was $40. I don't remember a booth selling the hoverboard, but those prices range.
Guys its not the actual hover board they used in the movie, he's really just paying for a piece of signed merch. I'm not surprised it didn't go for more than a thousand.
James Sanders you drunk? Show me the link! They aint even $500 just a bunch of junk rick got scammed! The signatures from back to the future cast ain't work nothing because theres thousands out there they all sit in booths all day signing autographs for fans So makes them worth nothing! The board feom the actual movie wouldn't make $3k😂
There are big fans of the movie and the hoverboard is so iconic. I would definitely would have paid $1,500 for this and craft a nice display for it featuring the movie logo and characters. Someone would probably would have paid $3,000 for it.
The funny part about this hover board is this is the hover board of multiple hoverboards that they are selling at Universal Studios for around 500 to 1,000 with The three signatures so I wouldn’t doubt it if he bought this at universal studios
I was thinking he was going to say $15,000.
I would say MAYBE 15k if it was the original prop from the movie and 1/1.
Seemed like a very low offer.
Should've started there if he wanted $1500
That's taking a huge risk.
My guess was $2000. Closer than 15k
