      Hi, I just want to ask, do I really need to go first at DFA before MFA?

    Hi ate. good info. looks like the requirements are different if the application will be done in thailand compared to doing it in manila. what about your oec, was that a hassle to get processed too?

    • @jamrellb
      @jamrellb  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! I currently don’t have OEC because I came to Thailand as a tourist and then found a job here. Di na ako umuwi ng pinas since then, but I am planning to go back and get an OEC soon 😊

    question. same as you said. i already have my documents here in Thailand and i didn't authenticate it to the DFA in the Philippines. How did you do the shipment of your docs? do you have someone to process it for you?

    • @jamrellb
      @jamrellb  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, I booked online at DFA for a friend to process my papers on my behalf, shipped it to Manila, and once it was done, I had my friend ship it back to me.
      I think I paid around 2-3k baht for faster shipping. Expensive for me, but I was desperate to finish the processing so I wont have to exit Thailand again to extend my tourist visa 😥

    thanks for this amazing video. i want to ask a question: if my bachelor diploma and transcripts were certificated (apostiled) before, do i need to legalize in Embassy or not ?

      Hello! It depends po on the company you're applying and their requirements, but for mine which is a school, they required us to legalize it at the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok.

      Hello! Not sure if the requirements changed since I last got my documents, but I requested a CAV first from my college and then had them apostilled at DFA.

    Good day Ma'am, plan ko pmunta ng thailand as tourist next year to look for a job as a teacher. But I prepared all the documents needed in I.O like COE,LOA, bank statement and certificate, online banking, hotel bookings, travel itinerary and payslip.
    Pwedi po ba sa thailand na lng ako mg process ng non-b visa (valid for 3 months) in order for me to look for another job? Iniisip ko po kasi kpag dto ako sa Philippines nag process bka harangin ako ng IO. Thank you very much .

      @jamrellb  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hello Rodelyn! You can only get a non-b (working) visa if you are hired na and have a contract. So yes, sa Thailand ka na po mag process if dito ka maghahanap ng work.
      Good luck and God bless! 😊

    Can visa on arrival be converted into non-b visa too?

    • @jamrellb
      @jamrellb  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Do you mean the 30-day free visa that you get upon arrival here? If yes, then that is a tourist visa and can be converted into non-b 😊

    Non-B will allow you to work? It should be work permit right?

    • @jamrellb
      @jamrellb  ปีที่แล้ว

      Non-B is the visa you need to be legally allowed to work in Thailand. Work permit is a blue book that has your work details and is different from a Non-B visa.

    • @rvngonzales
      @rvngonzales ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But you cannot "start" working without the Work Permit, is my understanding correct?

    • @jamrellb
      @jamrellb  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rvngonzales You can start working without a work permit as long as you have the non-b visa.
      It usually takes a week or two for the company to process the work permit after you acquire a non-b visa.
      So the process is:
      1.) Get a non-b (valid for 3 months)
      2.) Start working
      3.) Company processes your work permit (usually takes a week or two)
      4.) Before your 3-month Non-B visa expires, your company will extend your visa to a year (depending on your work contract)
      Hope this helps :)
