as much as we would all probably like a lego x gundam line of lego sets, we all know that lego would probably just do some small mechs, if not minifigs with custom prints and accessory parts, with the only real kits being the bigger, well known MAs like the psycho gundam, dendrobium, or neo zeong, and maybe a white base set
I think that if I got the chance to learn how to build mechs from you, it would take far too long and I doubt anything I built would come out as great. Lol every time I think I have made something cool, I come here and I’m instantly humbled. So, thank you for that

Aside from the daunting size of this mech, I love how not a single detail from the real Rick Dias has been missed, and how all the angles match up cleanly. Even the subtle slopes on the gun barrel and the soles of the feet are there! I must ask, though, how are the hips constructed? I don't believe I've seen any technic mech-joints of this size that are hand-manipulatable; most require an external cog to position themselves.
Well... WOW! Wish you'd show how the articulations on shoulders and hips are built... it would allow so many of us to build other mobile suits at this scale!
I'd love to see how you designed the joints, especially the shoulder joints. I only have one really big lego mech and it is posable but the joints are weak.

That actually a really good Gundam mech mic it kinda remind me of sazabi for some reason

これ、茶色のパーツが作ってる途中で割れたりしませんでしたか？
何個か割れましたね〜
茶色系の割れやすい問題はレゴ社も認めていて数年前に樹脂が改善されたという記事を以前どこかのレゴ系海外サイトで読んだ記憶があるのですが、実際私が所有している割れたパーツは改善前の古いものでした。
今までみたレゴビルダーの中でも最高峰のクオリティ
デカいから精巧とも言えますがいったいどれだけの予算と手間をかけたのか
しかし造形がすごい・・・レゴに合わせてるのではなくいかにリックディアスの形状を再現するかを重視して妥協なく設計しているところが凄すぎます。
ありがとうございます。造形はかなり工夫して作ったつもりなので気付いていただけて嬉しいです。
