Thank you for this. I began TTC at 28. I am 34 now. No known causes, we have been told unexplained infertility. It can be hard cycle after cycle and being in my 30s adds the biological pressure which then adds stress. Even though I have heard the tips you shared before, your calming approach to the subject is refreshing. I appreciated the statistics you shared.

I had that "maybe we want kids" conversation with my primary care physician, and no red flags were raised, even after telling him that I go MONTHS without seeing my period. Finally, after a year of trying, then COVID hitting the country, I got referred to a fertility clinic, then was finally diagnosed with PCOS another year later. Oof. I feel like the healthcare system failed me. Thanks for publishing content that will help women take control of their fertility. We really need to be our own advocates.

Yoga, meditation, walks in nature, physical activity, journaling, spending time doing things you enjoy, and spending time with people you enjoy are good places to start. Of course, you don't have to do it all. Find what you're drawn to and curious about and start there.

What you eat is #1. If it's processed, heavy dairy, & meats, and excessive (meaning you eat all throughout the day) dis ease begins there. We must be active and gentle with our bodies so yoga, dancing, slow light weight lifting helps a lot (this must be regular - every other day.) Your quality of sleep matters. Going to be earlier, turning off screens at least an hour prior. And getting into the pattern of stress relief(through therapy, meditation, massage, whatever relaxes you,) and you can also speak with a Chinese medicine practitioner or accupuncturist/herbalist if you feel your medical team isn't being as helpful as you'd like. I hope your journey blossoms and ascends.
