Bought this monitor last month on the 14 and love it. I would like to run the demo they show on the screen, but unable to find it anywhere. Anyone have any thoughts were id might be if it available.
How is this REALLY for Text. I have been running a Acer 34" IPS x34 for about 10 years now 50/50 work and gaming. Sadly I cannot find one on display near me. I am wondering even though the pixel layout is less clear for text than many other displays, if it might still be more clear than my now old IPS display. Should add I can pick one up for US $997 incl tax in NZ this weekend on sale which is super tempting.
I have one OLED 39" and in one month appear a defect , to be honest I am disapointed with LG now. The monitor is amazing but LG support is very slow and bad .
Its a gaming beast. Had it for a few months. Zero regrets.
I want to get one but hard to justify an upgrade when you have a 32 inch 4k 144hz monitor. Thanks for the comment. Feel free to subscribe :)

Just got this monitor couple days ago. Do you know of any lg remotes that work for this?
I don't believe it has a IR receiver
As for the resolution, you can use super resolution, that helps some. Although, I don't think it's bad in native 3440 x 1440p.
True, 1440p is still amazing. However, graphic card technology is exploding and soon 8k will be the standard (maybe in 5-6 years from now)
@@javatheboxer the main draw is the curve and its unique size (and OLED) never liked 34” ultra wide because it’s a 27” height.
@@javatheboxer a 39" ultrawide with 5120x2160p would be great.
@@javatheboxer 8k won't be the standard in 5 years it will be after 10 years
@@jimtepedino9295 Next year look at LGs road map
3440x1440 @ 39" is a PPI comparable to that of a 23" 1080p monitor. Not a total deal-breaker, but also a bit underwhelming.
Totally agree. Not ideal but also not a deal-breaker. It is still a beautiful monitor.
I just returned it because it was noticeable to me when reading text and it kinda bugged me....didn't feel as crisp as it should
@@javatheboxer No the stupid curve feels like a bit of a deal breaker though
as of right now its $839
Great deal!
Love this monitor and that is coming from somebody that doesn't like Matte coatings.

What was the defect?
$1499.99 for a 1440p, matte OLED 🤮🤮🤮🤮 You have to be brain dead to purchase this.
$1499 is a lot. Luckily these monitors go on sale often. It is $850 on amazon: amzn.to/3UgOSAT
