The nail was a modern gutter nail. It’s amazing how floods can push stuff like that so far away. Pro tip: put the mini cell at the top of the sluice to catch the big stuff and the micro at the end of the sluice for the small stuff to increase capture rate.
Savage, Have you heard from William? We lost touch after my youngest son died in a motorcycle crash in 2016. I wasn’t able to go with him afterwards to his special spot. Tell him I still have his GA. Gold sniffer bottle with the nugget in the top. It’s so big it will not fit through the end of the bottle.

I love my adventure sluice i got the dark blue,i find it picks the gold up better visually for me.
Yeah blue is a good color, i have a few colors but prefer the purple one for whatever reason

Yeah I’m sure there is, I was up that way today. There’s an app you can get, “find gold” that will show you gold occurrences and old gold mines

Ive been prospecting the National Forests and rivers here in NC for a couple of years and absolutely love it.
What sluice are you using for the second sluice? Said it was 8' broken down to 4'? Im looking for a set up like that.
It’s an extension made by Adventures in Gold Prospecting (AIGP - Paul Jarvis). The initial box was made 6”x46” then I added a 24” extension then another 30” flare extension I use when highbanking. It’s a great setup. And thanks, lots of time put into making the videos and glad you enjoy them.

So like we can't sluice in our national forest only pan (alabama) how is it yall can?
Each state and forest is different. Uwharrie you can sluice in, pisgah you can only pan. Same state, different forest. Not sure why
We can only pan in talladega national forest and have have permits I go to gpaa lease
How are you sluicing in a National Park. Is that not illegal? Just wondering...
At Uwharrie you can sluice, each National Forest is different, for example- Pisgah NF you can only pan for gold, but you can sluice for gold in Uwharrie. It’s not illegal by any means

@@X4PROSPECTING Chattahoochie National forest is pan and shovel only. Talladega NF in Alabama is the same. According to their websites.

Didn’t have anyone to go dredging with, Will and Stephen were both busy. And it’s too much of a pain to do solo. Don’t worry we have 3 more dredge videos in the lineup!

Yeh. It’s not about that for my channel, my channel is all about educating people how to find gold, where to look, and honestly started as a “journal” to pass down to my children with all the gold I have ever found. I keep all my gold, and plan to save it up to pass down generation to generation with a journal showing how I found it and where I found it. Creating a legacy in a sense. Also, we are continuing the first American Gold Rush right here in NC, continuing a legacy that’s been here since the first American Gold Rush is priceless. Money is nothing to me, experiences and sharing my adventures is everything. This is my hobby, my real job provides the means to invest in my hobby.
