Wow hearing about Hill of Crosses really gave me some whiplash lmao. I never even considered that the Hill of Crosses could be seen as something weird for others, since it's such a staple in our country. I'm Lithuanian, and from everything I know, the way the Hill of Crosses started was because of the unsuccessful uprisings against the tsarist government. Since Lithuanian citizens were primarily farmers or lower class people, we never had any weapons, therefor the Russians were able to murder and arrest hundreds of citizens who partook in the uprising. The families who had lost their loved ones to the uprisings often couldn't find their bodies or have proper burials, so that resulted in many people putting up home made crosses on top of the hills. This was not just a way to mourn their lost families, it was also a way to showcase our will and dedication to salvaging our culture and our country, since at the time, Russia was against Christianity and this act of putting up crosses was seen as a rebellion of its own. The tsar government started destroying the crosses in any way possible [ burning them, leveling them to the ground, etc. ] and started to monitor the grounds so that people wouldn't be able to set them up again. That, obviously, didn't fucking stop us because we were persistent as fuck and the entire Cross Hill was redone and demolished about 4 times iirc. The entire hill was and is less of a "praying ground" and more so a memorial to our persistence and dedication, not to mention a mourning and memorial place for the victims of the 1831 and 1863 uprisings. Nowadays it's mostly a tourist attraction and a somewhat neat memorial of our history. Sorry for this random history lesson, I just wanted to shed more insight on this, since I don't see anything from Lithuania be mentioned too often and I thought I could bring some interesting facts to the table.
Russian here, these facts are actually pretty interesting because when I saw pictures of Hill of Crosses I thought it`s just a poorly made cemetery. Because now our cemeteries are full of graves with big crosses(such as in these pictures) placed on them as Russia`s main religion is christianity now.
i think theory #3 with the blood lake may be referring to chemical pollution forming red algae in the water. although, I’m only aware of chemical pollution forming blue or green algae in the process of acid rain and that the water seems to be translucent rather that having a patch of algae cover the entire lake, this may be what they are referring to but idk i’m definitely not an professional.
6:14 i’m going to say there is also a kind of algae that has been found that makes water red and that’s how some of the oceans or lakes can have a red color, so it could also be algae

About John Wells, I have a quick ghost story. In 1994-1995, my sister was 6 years old, and she slept walked. Well, one night, my mom and her friend were up late. My moms friend thought that she was walking in her sleep, but long story short, she was in her bed, and the girl was looking for her mom, "the blue lady." "The blue lady" walked up and down a few houses down from our house. The instantances got so weird that my mom and her friend looked up the history of the Neighborhood, and our street was a airplane landing, so the Mom and daughter were flying on a plane, and got separated when they died. I hope that they found peace and each other. It was a very weird time in our childhood, but fun.

It's simply clear that there are 2 big bolts inserted into the wall, which are rusted and looks like black eyes of the ghost And if you ask about the shape, it's just a normal rod keeping a hold of the bridge. But i am a 100% sure that it's not a ghost and it's just a coincidence that it looks like a ghost. Idk how people couldn't recognise that at the first sight. The story tells that seven Franciscans had died on the Three Crosses Mountain, whom the pagans, without the knowledge of Grand Duke Algirdus, tied them to the crosses and threw them of this mountain into the river. Then the mountain got the name of Three Crosses, because three crosses were built to commemorate this event, which are still being updated. However, there are historians who claim that these crosses, like other cities, were built on the occasion of Magdeburg's granting of rights to Vilnius. Now it’s a memorial place.

I don't understand why people find it impossible for the first item (the 'ghost girl') to appear grey in color. Maybe it's a lack of photography (and 360 cameras) or maybe it's a lack of how sun/shadow makes things look... but I'm not buying it. Look at the grass -- not very saturated with green (very gray-ish green). How about that tree -- a bit desaturated as well. Regardless, I find it harder to believe this is a "ghost" than to believe that desaturation and photographic artifacts are in play.

I think the "ghost girl" might just be a tree limb that was sawed off. The side of the head is very flat, and its the same color as the tree. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a tree limb that just happened to look like a face
The history of the Hill of Crosses can literally be found on wikipedia. And even though it's Lithuania now, people started putting crosses on the hill after the fall of the November Uprising of 1831, back when the land was Polish (although under Russian occupation). The crosses (and the entire place) are more of a symbolic than strictly religious meaning now.
Hey there! I went to the coordinates for the creepy face, and I recognize the address where you saw the "creepy face" I've been down there before for walks and never really noticed it. After seeing this video, I recently checked to see if it was really there. And it actually is, the only problem is that its not a face. Its a hole in the I-Beam supporting the bridge. The two eyes are just Nuts screwed into screws that hold the bridge together. And you can even tell that this is just a hole, because the "creepy face's" skin color is the same as the bridge's cement color.
There's actually a phenomenon about how humans tend to perceive random objects as faces. It's called pareidolia. If we see something that resembles 2 parallel dots and a line below it, we'll see a face.

The "ghost girl's" face doesn't really look all grey to me- at least, not completely. It certainly looks dull or washed out, but that could just be because of a combination of the lighting and juxtaposition with her surroundings in the rather blurry image. She also doesn't look transparent at all, but even that could have a potential explanation of her having been moving a bit when the photo was taken, or something similar. Not a lot of motion blur because she wasn't moving very fast. As for the cloaked figure in the background, I have no idea; y'all are free to go nuts on that one. (My guess is that it's just some person with a hobby of roaming around cemeteries- p sure I can see headstones back there- dressed in creepy garb to freak out normies and other stupid crap, lmao. We've all probably thought of doing something similar at least once.)
As humans we see faces on things when they don't have a face, it's called 'face pareidolia'. The combination of this and someone else telling you there is a face peaking out from behind the tree, you're going to focus on that. The image is quite pixelated anyway. I honestly think it's just part of the tree.

People keep going on about the muted colors, and how "transparent" it is; while I can note the seeming lack of color, I still assert that it's a lighting thing, and that the transparency is bull bc that looks pretty damn solid to me. The red river In Iraq, ”بحيرة الدماء”, also know as the Blood River, definitely isn’t real human blood. It is a type of bacteria that has largely accumulated due to the extreme humidity which decreased the lake’s oxygen. As a result, the lake turned red.

I don't understand why people find it impossible for the first item (the 'ghost girl') to appear grey in color. Maybe it's a lack of photography (and 360 cameras) or maybe it's a lack of how sun/shadow makes things look... but I'm not buying it. Look at the grass -- not very saturated with green (very gray-ish green). How about that tree -- a bit desaturated as well. Regardless, I find it harder to believe this is a "ghost" than to believe that desaturation and photographic artifacts are in play.

I think the "ghost girl" might just be a tree limb that was sawed off. The side of the head is very flat, and its the same color as the tree. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a tree limb that just happened to look like a face

The history of the Hill of Crosses can literally be found on wikipedia. And even though it's Lithuania now, people started putting crosses on the hill after the fall of the November Uprising of 1831, back when the land was Polish (although under Russian occupation). The crosses (and the entire place) are more of a symbolic than strictly religious meaning now.

Hey there! I went to the coordinates for the creepy face, and I recognize the address where you saw the "creepy face"
I've been down there before for walks and never really noticed it. After seeing this video, I recently checked to see if it was really there. And it actually is, the only problem is that its not a face. Its a hole in the I-Beam supporting the bridge. The two eyes are just Nuts screwed into screws that hold the bridge together. And you can even tell that this is just a hole, because the "creepy face's" skin color is the same as the bridge's cement color.
Thanks for your investigation. Opening the coordinates of the bridge creepy face now, it's blurred out for some reason, lol.
There's actually a phenomenon about how humans tend to perceive random objects as faces. It's called pareidolia. If we see something that resembles 2 parallel dots and a line below it, we'll see a face.

The "ghost girl's" face doesn't really look all grey to me- at least, not completely. It certainly looks dull or washed out, but that could just be because of a combination of the lighting and juxtaposition with her surroundings in the rather blurry image. She also doesn't look transparent at all, but even that could have a potential explanation of her having been moving a bit when the photo was taken, or something similar. Not a lot of motion blur because she wasn't moving very fast.
As for the cloaked figure in the background, I have no idea; y'all are free to go nuts on that one. (My guess is that it's just some person with a hobby of roaming around cemeteries- p sure I can see headstones back there- dressed in creepy garb to freak out normies and other stupid crap, lmao. We've all probably thought of doing something similar at least once.)
As humans we see faces on things when they don't have a face, it's called 'face pareidolia'. The combination of this and someone else telling you there is a face peaking out from behind the tree, you're going to focus on that. The image is quite pixelated anyway. I honestly think it's just part of the tree.

People keep going on about the muted colors, and how "transparent" it is; while I can note the seeming lack of color, I still assert that it's a lighting thing, and that the transparency is bull bc that looks pretty damn solid to me. Regardless, it ain't no haunting.

Fun Fact: I actually have a few blurred out houses in my home town, Healsville, Victoria, Australia.
My only theory to the blurred out houses is way to much advertising, and google didn't want people to give them money instead of them, I guess.

Yo, Tuv! Most of the 360-degree panoramas are user-generated imagery (including the last one - 'anonymous hack?'), meaning Google themselves have not compiled or created them in any way. Instead, a user compiles their 360-degree images and can manipulate them in an image editing software (eg, Photoshop) - just as what is appeared to be done with the last "anonymous" faces.
