Although, like last year, the Bills will be down 3 key defensive starter this game, the Bills will have a huge rest advantage and home field advantage. I'd like to hear more stats about how Allen performs against man coverage (I'm assuming he has pretty good games on the ground) but it doesn't feel like the best way to beat him. I feel like the major difference this week vs last year is the Bills have Daquon Jones, so their D-line won't get bullied, and both outside corners will start the game healthy. Last year the Jags were able to exploit Elam a bit on the boundary. Good luck taking that approach with Benford and Douglas. I don't think the Jags deserve to be taken lightly, it just feels like wrong place wrong time. 34-13 Bills. Have really enjoyed the local Jags coverage this week. Yall do a good job. ✌🏼
We have had depth all along to fill in for lost starters. We've done it for years and never miss a beat defensively, so if you think we are in a bind losing starters your delusional. Guys we let go in the off season were washed up, old, and always hurt. People who say we took a step back are foolish, this team is actually better personnel wise than 2023. McDermott is one of the best coaches at building depth and using the next man up mentality. No one does it better in the NFL at rotating players like Buffalo.
@@victorkreitner754 is that why the bills won last season in london when they lost 3 starters and Elam got cooked repeatedly by Ridley? I've never had a problem with the guys we let go in the offseason, and have said repeatedly on this forum that they had all lost a step. But that's a whole different conversation than losing the ENTIRE second level of a defense. Do I think the Bills get it done? Yes. But it's silly to act like being without 2 all pros and a future all pro isn't a concern.
Also, we lost Milano and DaQuan in the game. The replacements in that game did not play at the level as the starters they replaced. In fact it took a few weeks to pare down Dodson's role so he could excel and move Jordan to dime safety. This year we are ready for the players that won't be available going in, but if we lose more players during the game, that's a different story, like last year. The biggest difference this year that I think will change the outcome is the line play on both sides for Buffalo. The home field will be huge as well. But lastly a big development that's not being given enough credit, is Josh's maturation as a QB. In helping develop the offense with Joe Brady, Josh has taken on a whole new approach with his reads, where he starts with his eyes and feet, and the backside route concepts that give him a new set of options at every turn, including the scramble drill. I think in part because of Josh's maturation, this will be the year the Bills stop playing down to the level of their competition and beat Jax handily.
Anyone who says the jags beat the bills last year is ignoring jags stayed in London no team should have to fly to England to play a team they did not fly there the same day
You're 0-2, no way around it. Win and people will shut up. As a Bills fan I fully understand our misfortunes against you guys in the past. Bills fans don't wear blinders when it comes to the past. As for Brady no one here has anointed him as an offensive god. The difference now in this team is we weeded out the dead old wood stars, have younger faster players on defense, and Allen has a RB he can fully depend on. The option for Josh scrambling is still there, but he doesn't have to do it every damn play and kill himself physically. Also Von Miller is 100% healthy.
Our run game will be the difference this time around and Trevor will throw a pass to Gabe but he will look the wrong direction , its why you have him now ...... Bills 35 - Jags 14
James cook has the 2nd most yards from scrimmage since Brady took over. Only trailing Christian McCaffrey. Seems like you guys over looked some stuff. Referring to the Bills offense: “Anywhere you go they talk about how Dalton Kincaid is going replace the Diggs and Davis production”, except Buffalo, lmao. Buffalos mantra since training camp has been “everybody eats”, and everybody is eating.
My Jags will start the season off beating the bills on Monday night and learn from the o and 2 start Trevor is a leader and he said what needed to be said
Bills fan here - I love what Lawrence had to say. It struck a perfect balance between honest self critique and holding the rest of the team accountable. I'm really looking forward to getting to see him play in person on Monday.
Hahaha you're a moron if you think you're manhandling us. Miami thought the same thing until we toasted their azzes. We could of scored 50 plus on them that night, we just showed mercy.
Well I hope y'all feeling are hurt I am a jaguar fan will never doubt my team no matter what. Mia if we win don't do a podcast anymore cause you are not a fan of the jags like the old saying goes we ride together we die together.
I’m a Bills fan (born and raised), and the Jags always seem to play Buffalo hard. Should be a great game on Monday night! Go Bills!
As a Bills fan that was the Best explanation of joe Brady offense.
