    Curly Hair Product Review
    Wavy Hair Product Review
I did it again! I used only ONE product to truly review and see what it does, what it doesn't do, what it gives me, where it is lacking. I am sacrificing my hair day by using only the Innersense I Create Lift Volumizing Foam to give you the details that I wish I knew before purchasing Innersense. It gave me the confidence that my current hair routine works well for my hair.

It gave you flash drying! That's what that is, and can happen if the product has protein that your hair really wants, and there's not enough moisture barrier between them. I've heard people say aloe causes flash drying for them, but I've never seen or read anything that would cause aloe to do that since it's a humectant. I'm sure there's other things that cause flash drying too, but usually an imbalance between moisture in your hair with protein in the product

Yes, someone else mentioned flash drying, too! I hadn’t heard of it before, but that is definitely what is was.

I’m super late to the show on this one, but I decided to give innersense a try after a GREAT hair cutting experience involving the Volume foam and the texturizing creme. Help a sister out: Wash hair, scrunch in creme, prayer hands/ scrunch in volume foam, plop n’ dry.
Does that sound about right? I have no idea why I’m so stressed about this!

Would this be great alternative to dry shampoo for oily scalp if applied to the roots?

    • @hopeunfinished8462
      @hopeunfinished8462  3 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi! Thanks for your question! I would not recommend this to use as a dry shampoo or applying to roots. As I learned from others, what happened to my hair was flash drying. I would only recommend using this on your hair to style. Since it leaves a cast on your hair, I would imagine it might even make your scalp itchy, but don’t know for sure. Let me know if you have any other questions😊💜

I really like your hair it looks healthy:)Thank you for uploading a review, i am still trying to figure out how much product to use since my hair weights down after 2 hours without a define curl pattern. Anyways thank you for the videos

Thank you for the sweet comment💜 It took me awhile to figure the products out, too! Do you think you might need some of their lighter products?

@@hopeunfinished8462 yes probably, but I am not sure which ones though. Do you have any suggestions?

    • @hopeunfinished8462

Innersense has a quiz you can take about your hair and it will suggest products. That’s where I started and it was helpful! Of course, trial and error is a true test since we all have different hair and live in different climates. Also, have you tried adding a bit of water with the product and then emulsify it before applying? That was a game changer for me. When I first stated using Innersense my hair was exactly how you describe yours being until I started to add a bit of water to stretch the product out since it’s SO concentrated. It made the product less heavy on my hair. Keep me updated!

Of course! This video should help you see what I’m talking about with the products being very concentrated and what to do. I show me actually using the product on a wash day. The visual can be easier to explain😊

With all the water release it sounds like you had flash drying from the foam. Some products do that to my hair also. I like Innersense products a lot, but not one of them works for my hair. I guess I just don't have a future with Innersense. I have tried the foam several times and I get nothing from it! I get no cast and no wave definition. I have no idea why. I have also tried ICV, and no matter how little I used, ( which I diluted a LOT) it made my hair so stringy. It may because I have very low porosity hair and sometimes it's tricky with low porosity hair and some products. Still trying to figure it out! Thanks for the demo. Your hair always looks nice to me. BTW, I have spoken with them several times via phone and text and followed their advice. Did not work for my strange hair.

Thank you for sharing!! I hadn’t heard of flash drying and just looked it up. That sounds exactly like what happened and I appreciate having a term for it now! I’ll be looking into it so I can learn more about it, but it confirms that the order of applying products can be important since it doesn’t happen if I apply the quiet calm curl control first. So interesting!

I just started using Innersense True Enlightenment Scalp Scrub about once a month. Otherwise I use the innersense hair bath on wash days.

The Innersense I Create Volume Lotion! It’s currently my favorite product! It’s like magic. It reduces frizz, makes your hair shiny, but it is light and doesn’t weigh it down.

Let me know if it works for you💜 I seriously about threw in the towel with Innersense before changing up my methods of using them. There are only so many dry hair days a curly girl can take before she gives up lol! My hair no longer has moisture/hydration problems!
