      Supreet Singh But he wasn’t conspiring to do anything wrong? All he gave was advice to “Businessmen” on how to get past the third party ownership rule” he didn’t do anything wrong. It was proved that all the “advice” he gave was actually factual and he didn’t say anything that was illegal, that’s why no charges where pressed but by this time he had already lost everything. I’m not a Sam Allardyce fan, but what happened to him was wrong, The Daily Telegraph screwed him over, I would’ve pressed some sort of charges of defamation of character against them.

    He comes across as very bitter. He DID do wrong, he was telling people he thought were private businessmen how to get around the rules his employers impose to protect footballers from being exploited. He can whine all he wants, he was fired for gross misconduct which is far worse than any manager getting sacked for poor results.

    Fantastic manager but inherent prejudice's in us all means he never got the credit he deserved. Pioneered sports science in the Premier League arguably more than Wenger whom had the riches and luxury of being at Arsenal, whereas Allardyce took a small provincial team in Bolton to great heights. His time at England cut short by journalists who thought he wasn't worthy of the job because of those same prejudice's which rule he's boring cause he's 'sam allardyce' whereas if he had an accent other than English and had an aura about him because of that, he'd have been given genius status.

    It’s criminal!! The way the F.A give the England job to an Italian who only did the job part time, didn’t learn the language and only watched players in London. And paid him very well.
